Actually I was at the Wall St store today. They are going to operate as two complimentary stores. Fragrances and home store at Brookfield, scarves and leather goods will remain at Wall St.

ETA: Isaiah at Wall St is a delight!

If one wanted to build a relationship with an SA to get a birkin, which store would you recommend, Madison or Wall St? I've been to the Wall St boutique, but not Madison. I avoided Madison because I read some bad reviews on Yelp, but it seems from this forum, people have scored Bs from there! I did meet a very nice SA at Wall Street, but if it is more of a pain getting a B on Wall St, then I would be open to trying for Madison. I can visit NYC once a month to make little purchases here and there at Hermès, but I do want another B and don't want to wait years and years in the hopes of getting one. I'm hoping to get one around Christmas!

I got offered a birkin on my first visit to wall street store, but wasn't the right color. They offered me b/k again next time, but again not my color. So I am waiting for the right one to come along and its been 2 months since first visit to the store...I am sure Madison gets more stuff, but they are snooty there. if you get a good sa there maybe you can get birkin there faster?

gymangel812, did they say specifically that you needed to pay x amount in order to be offered a B? Also, do you think it's better to bring it up sooner or later(after building up a relationship)?

I wanted to plan for my next trip to H at Wall Street(which will have to be at the very beginning of May). I emailed my new SA last night asking for help finding a CdC in Barenia. No reply yet, how long should I wait before calling him? I know it's only been a day, but I'm worried(maybe overly so) that communication may be spotty with this SA. My last SA in California was very quick to reply, so that concerns me. Since I don't live in the city, it's important for me to have good/quick communication via email or phone(email preferably). I like going into the store and grabbing what I need on my list, so I was hoping to buy the CdC over the phone in advance and pick it up when I visit the boutique next month lol.

I talk on the phone with my sa from wall street. Don't think they use email that much. She told me call me always. Maybe ask him what his preferred mode of communication is...

exactly what panthere said, some SAs prefer a certain mode of communication, just find out what he prefers... good luck! i love wall st. the SAs there are all great... mine left but she was awesome.

Thank you, carlinha! I will call and find out tomorrow, I loved Wall Street when I visited. Everyone was so nice and the store felt very homey haha :-)

there was no specific number. i mentioned i wanted a b or k from day one. i was "approved" to buy one after spending at least 5k (Can't remember exact number, it was over 1.5-ish years). i don't think i'll ever be offered another one there because the SA hinted when i bought the bag, he wanted me to buy RTW (he was really pushing it on me as i was buying the birkin despite buying an exotic CDC at the same time as the birkin) and i don't really use him any more because of the no phone order.
