Can you kindly share your journey at the store and your pre-spend before the Constance were offered

From this September? That's great, it's not too bad at all. Only a few months away.
It's very hard to clarify my "pre-spend" as I have been a customer at 3 Hermes stores in London since mid 2015. I shop slowly and in a considered manner. I wouldn't say I was a huge customer at all, but a regular one and across a few departments. I do not reside in the U.K. at the moment so it's even more sporadic now.
I genuinely believe it’s based on individual relationship and what’s available at that time. I have a good relationship, have purchased Birkins and put in a special order recently BUT damn is it hard for me to get a Constance ! I have tried and tried. My SA said probably July/August time and I’m still waiting ! Keep asking and don’t give up.
Hi all! I will be travelling to London soon and would like to try my luck on getting non-QBs as well as other items like scarfs and rtws. Should I buy in specifically one shop consistently or try different shops at the same time?
Based on what I’ve read NBS store seems to have more stock? If I am to choose only one store to shop during my entire visit, which store is the best to go to with a chance of buying a non-QB?

If you are only planning to shop as a tourist and not establish any relationship, I would say logically the best chance of finding what you want, would be to visit as many of the stores as you can. If you are going to concentrate on one, I would probably say New Bond Street. My suggestion is to ask the person manning reception specifically for the non- quota bags you are interested in, to manage your expectations. If they cannot offer any bags then you can either save time and not wait at all, or ask for assistance with RTW and scarves only. This makes for more efficient use of your time in London. Help this poor Hermes fan! Been a customer since February 2023 at Sloane/ Cadogan, spent almost 5000 GBP, with the same SA every single time, but still no bag offered! (Not even non-BKC!) The SA is very nice, we really click, but her (official) response is, “sorry we really don’t have a pre-spending system here, if we have a bag now, if the shipment has arrived, then we will sell it to you. We also can’t reserve any bags as well. As for BKC, we can put you on a wishlist, which is decided by Paris and we play no role in it.” What do you guys think?

Oh do you just walk in to a London store and get offered a bag?? Non-BKC I presume? Any prior spending history/ know the specific SA in that store?To be honest I don’t see the difference between 8 months vs 12 months in terms of wishlist duration; it’s not like they go ‘omg, this person’s wish is expiring soon, quick offer them a bag!’
I’ve often heard (from SAs and an ASM at all stores except Selfridges) that “the system” allocates bags based on the specs listed in the wishes, and very recently an SA at CP said “the system doesn’t care about spending history when allocating, although there are still team members who review the decisions”. They also said the reason why the specs you can give on your wish are a lot more restricted than previously is because they’re trying to allocate bags better.
In our experience, purchase history and SA relationship don’t play a role in getting offers at CP. wishes can be fulfilled even with very limited spending, like a twilly, and no consistent SAs (our first wish was fulfilled within 2 weeks of setting it up and second wish was fulfilled within 4 months). I now shop at a different store where I don’t actually have an official wishlist per se, but still get offered bags which they think I might like. Who knows how the H system works!
I think your SA is right!
Of course, your spend may have an impact on how quickly the wishlist is answered, and your SA might be able to have a word with head of department or SM to advocate for you if they do get a shipment in, and they’re more likely to remember you if you (a) pop in frequently and (b) make purchases.
I say this as someone who has not put in a wishlist with my SA and rarely shops with bags in mind. But I do get the impression that it’s a bit like fight club (what’s the first rule about fight club? Don’t talk about fight club!), So I wouldn’t approach a conversation asking for a QB by referring to pre spend or your profile… as evidenced from the number of people I have seen having meltdowns in store about those things!!!
If you want a non QB I would suggest following periogirls’ advice above. Generally if they have a non QB in store in the specs you want, and you go in the morning when it isn’t too busy, they will sell it to you.

I shop in London with the same SA. The pre-spending for my first Kelly was 2:1. From the fact that you mentioned (The SA is very nice, we really click), I'd suggest you keep shopping with the same SA. Get what you love, what you want and what you will wear anyway with/without the bag. When the bag comes, it will worth the wait.
Same here ,in UK ,same story .Theynever have any bags forget Qb or k .They say no spend is necessary ,but I think otherwise .Am not interested in their games .If I get it's fine ,for first few months I was agitated ,but I have given up .Put my wishlist and left as such .If you go to the resellers or consignment stores you will find so many new bags with receipt ,how .Nothing is clear anymore and not wasting time on waiting and neither am I planning to get through the resellers .
