Help this poor Hermes fan! Been a customer since February 2023 at Sloane/ Cadogan, spent almost 5000 GBP, with the same SA every single time, but still no bag offered! (Not even non-BKC!) The SA is very nice, we really click, but her (official) response is, “sorry we really don’t have a pre-spending system here, if we have a bag now, if the shipment has arrived, then we will sell it to you. We also can’t reserve any bags as well. As for BKC, we can put you on a wishlist, which is decided by Paris and we play no role in it.” What do you guys think?
Not sure what is happening with the stock in the UK and Europe. I just returned from my holiday in the US to visit family. I walked into a store I was able to get a Chypre in 47 for hubbs , they didn’t have in the store but the sa I met was able to check for expected deliveries and even ordered from a different store shipped to us and I also asked for a mini Evelyn I was offered one immediately which I accepted. I have been to NBS on numerous occasions and have not been able to get neither the Chypre nor the mini Evelyn. I have a wish list at NBS but no SA. I keep getting same response that the stock is low. I think the US has more stock or less clients not sure which.

So I purchased 2 pairs of Orans in the new Harrods super brand, with the lovely SA and she gave me her contact as I mentioned I wanted to get some housewarming gifts. I do have quite a few Hermes purchases I want to make and would like to spread them out so I pop in every other month or so. How do I bring up getting a B/K added to my wishlist I’m kinda shy to ask because I’m quite young

Just casually work it into the conversation and be like you know “do you think a Kelly or a birkin would suit me better?”

And then at the end of the convo you can be like so how do I go about getting put on the waitlist for one.

In the U.K. as a local, you can simply ask to put these styles in your profile wishlist. The wish only covers B/ K anyway. You will be asked for specific specs so it's not a general thing, choose a style, size, colour preference and hardware. Harrod’s SAs are really nice and as with almost all stores worldwide, they appreciate a loyal customer who buys across the departments, regularly. Your next planned homeware purchase will help, as will your future regular visits.

I'm so happy the quota bags are priority for locals as I was scared since I shop in Harrods mainly I'd be competing with tourists. But thank you ladies will just bring it up on my next visit! I really love their homeware and I have an extensive list of things I really want to buy LOL but I will spread out my purchases.

Thank you!

Hello. I am new to this forum, and reading everyone's experiences has made me feel comfortable asking here. I've been trying to get an Evelyne 16 for a while now. Any advice on how to get one? I've been visiting SLS/CP regularly, but I've never been successful. That being said, I do have several quota bags.

Is it possible to create a wishlist via email/remotely? I live in Scotland so it's not feasible to easily drop into the London store.

I also have no purchase history, but I don't care if it takes years to be offered a bag.....as long as I'm added to a waitlist. Is this possible?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

The wishlist has to be set up in person. Even during Covid they didn’t make an exception to this; the tiny time windows between lockdowns were the only times wishlists could be set up.

If London is too far away from you, maybe try Manchester?

But youhardly get anything there .I think you will get your wishlist much quicker in London .I am from Manchester and absolutely useless they are .

I have a sister who shops in Manchester and has purchased several QB there. My other sister comes to London as she didn’t find an SA who she gelled with. Both started their move to Hermes at the same time. Manchester sister has had a smoother journey than the other. I guess it’s luck finding the right SA.

I Went to a few boutiques yesterday. CP at opening had quite a few people asking straight up for bags and were all told no bags whatsoever to offer as they hadn’t received a delivery. Someone then asked to look at shoes and was told to “join a separate queue upstairs for shoes”. The store had quite a few rare pieces on display.

NBS wasn’t as busy as I’d expected. There was a lady sitting with an SA discussing how she really wanted a croc K25 before she left the UK in a week. The SA said “ok, croc could be a bit of a challenge but it’s just a matter of stock, I will get you a few options to consider”. Then he drew the curtain to make the area more private for her, left and came back with a couple of boxes. The lady was wearing a giant gold Niloticus bracelet (5 figures?) along with other H things, was a tourist, and from the sound of it she had no problem bypassing the wishlist system or the wait! Interesting to see

Quite disheartening to hear, to be honest, given I’ve been waiting for over 20 months for a first quota bag from NBS with quite a big spend at this point.

I had a rather awkward conversation with my SA the last time I saw her. I was wearing my Evelyne 29 that I had managed to buy from the H website and she complimented my bag and asked where I got it from “because I know I haven’t offered you any bags”. I was a bit taken aback because I’ve always been open about pieces I want but if I’m not being offered anything from the store then I’m going to grab it online if I am lucky enough to be able to do so. If this is a game, then I am finding this hard because I just want to shop and get items that I would like. I will always try to get them from the store first but if everything I ask for is always out of stock then I can’t win this alleged game.
