This 100%. As with I would guess all the other stores as well. They simply do not order them in large numbers.
Right, so technically it would be easier (higher chance) to get a mini Kelly than Kelly Pochette or Cut...

Another question following that - do you think a Kelly Pochette or Kelly Cut is strictly a wishlist bag (like they say in all the stores) or there is a chance to get it through your SA if you're getting along well?

I really want one and contemplating if I should "use" my wishlist for that if it could be obtained like other NQBs - or not.

I understand your questioning and the conclusions you are trying to arrive at,
but they are in reality pointless.
The only true conclusions you should come to is there can be no definitive, or possibly even general, answers to such specific questions.
The variables are boundless and intangible like luck and personality.
By all means read as many other people's experiences as you can; compare with your own; get a general feeling; but like quicksilver - do not try to pin them down.

Anyone had any luck scoring a Constance in London? Or CTG? Will be in town and I don’t want to hit up all the stores if it’s a futile exercise…thanks!

I was recently offered a couple of Constances which were not on my wishlist but I have a reasonable relationship at this particular store. Both sizes, with and without the mirror. I declined them.

From reading the thread and my own personal experience, futile. IMO, even bags not as popular as these would generally be saved for clients with a solid relationship with the specific boutique

I know this is a really old post but thought I’d answer anyway - I’ve been offered two K25s from RE - one in March 2022 and one in May 2023.
That’s interesting to hear. Can you share the specs? I’m waiting for a k25 in retourne in a neutral. But not sure if sellier is more common at that store right now.

I was offered a craie retourne in Togo in March 2022 and an orange sellier in epsom last month. I asked for a sellier K25 in a bright colour so not sure how easy it is to get a neutral colour at the moment.

Can you kindly share your journey at the store and your pre-spend before getting any offers?
I have had a less than typical journey - the first thing I ever bought from RE (and actually from Hermes generally) was a B30 in October 2018. Since then, I’ve bought a couple of twillies and a pair of orans. I’ve just been fortunate to have my wishes granted from the wish list.

I am visiting London this week. I stopped by the New Bond store yesterday. After waiting for 1.5 hrs, an SA came to see me and I asked for a non-quota bag, Della or mini Lindy. She didn’t even bother to check stock on her phone like most of the SA did with other customers and straightly told me no bags :(. I was kinda disappointed ☹️

Maybe I should try other boutiques. Do you have any idea which one I may have a chance to score a bag as a visitor?

I think it really depends on whether the store has stocks available. I was in London as a traveller on a Thu 2 weeks ago. The first store I went to was CP because I was offered an evelyn 29 in black GHW there last year May. I arrived at 10.30am, the leather appointment queue was not long. I waited only 10 minutes but when it was my turn, the SA told me that stocks (bags) arrived yesterday & was all sold out.

I then walk to Harrods, approached the person with an i-pad (for appointment), there was an SA who stand next to her who straight away show me from the phone the 2 bags which they have left with. As those 2 are not what I was looking for, so I went to NBS instead.

While I was waiting for my leather appointment in NBS, I saw mini evelyn, navy picotin 18 in cargo were offered to other customers. And when it is my turn, after 2 hours of waiting with scarfs & cosmetics already waiting at the cash counter, I asked for a Lindy 26 or 30, SA replied that they do not have Lindy but I was offered a picotin 22 in etupe GHW. So I think it really depends on whether the store have stock on that very day.

Do they not ask you at the door of each store what specifically you are looking for? Whether bags or anything else in other departments, it would certainly save eveyone a lot of time and disappointment. They do ask me and I generally have appointments made with my SAs mainly for RTW/shoes or for collections.
