Hi All,
I will be going to London around June 8-10, anyone has any idea how’s the non-quota bag scene there now?

It really depends on the bag you want, but New Bond Street store does have a great selection,it normally depends on your time of arrival at the store as well. I was offered a pm Evelyn and in the loop belt bag last week but I wanted the mini Evelyn. I think anything mini are quite difficult to get hold of these days. I also saw someone being offered a in the loop bag as well, which they rejected. If you have a specific bag in mind go early to stand a better chance.

I got my mini Evelyn earlier this month at NBS but it was all hush hush behind the curtain job, away from public view. I am a long term customer there.

thank you. I am a tourist in UK, so not looking at quota bags as UK runs the wish list system. Just the non-quota bags.

It is a hit and miss you just have to be extremely lucky and be in the queue at the right time on the right day. It’s not necessarily true that if you get there early in the morning there will be bags available because sometimes a delivery is not even there yet, really is just down to the SA and who they want to give the bag to and this applies to nonquota bags.

My SA told me that Harrods doesn’t get many KPs in a year. So not only is competition high but there’s not many available.

This 100%. As with I would guess all the other stores as well. They simply do not order them in large numbers.
