Hermes boutiques in London

I've had a wish in place since Nov last year and haven't had it fulfilled yet. It's for a K 25 or 28 in either blue/purple/green. Had originally placed it for a B but changed it in April to Kelly. It expires end of this month and might renew it elsewhere given it seems this store doesn't receive much stock.

Hope others are getting more luck with their wish lists being fulfilled!
My wish was for a K25 but I was offered a K28 Gold with Gold HW although I way prefer a K25 I felt like I couldn’t refuse. I hope you get your wish soon :)

I've posted about my bag in the 2022 offers thread, but thought I'd share my experience as I bought it in CP.

I have a few Hermes items: a belt, a couple of pairs of Orans (all purchased from NBS over the past couple of years, and a scarf from Dubai airport. I wanted to try for a C24 and someone told me CP was the best place to make a wish - no idea why but it does seem a lot more chilled there than other London stores. I went on a cold January morning as I thought it might be a quieter time but that wasn't the case, the store wasn't too busy but SAs were spending lots of time with their clients. I let the desk know I wanted to place a wish and I sat and waited quietly for nearly an hour. I genuinely had somewhere else to be that afternoon so I asked politely if I'd be waiting for much longer as I would need to leave soon, or should I come back another time. She was understanding, said I was next on the list and an SA was just finishing up with a client - I was seen about 5 minutes later.

My SA was lovely and walked me through the process. I'd read up quite a bit and knew the leather I wanted (epsom - more durable) and wasn't too fussed about colour as long as it was vibrant. I had a preference for GHW to match my belt but would happily look at others. He didn't really give too much away but did say most people want Cs in neutrals so my wish for a bold colour was a good thing. Gave the usual spiel: it'd be valid for 8 months, I'd be notified by email, reapply if you don't hear from us etc...

I'd planned to pop to the store in the hope of becoming familiar to my SA but tbh I just didn't get around to it! But it didn't matter as I received my offer last week and collected it yesterday! So, in short, no real previous spend in the same store (and nowhere near 1:1, with none at all at CP), no subsequent visits or pestering, just politeness, patience and I also believe knowledge about the brand went a long way. He seemed to like that I know about the new design of the C24, though that could just be in my mind!

Thank you for coming to my TED Talk! ;) ;)
Can I make another wish in cp while I have a valid one with nbs. Is that possible ?

It’s not possible to have more than 1 wishlist in your profile. Even if it were, wouldn’t you have to split your spending between 2 stores/spend double what you would compared to if you only stick to 1 store?
Thanks gelato. my current wish will be soon expire and hopefully it will be fulfilled . do you happen to know would online spending carries any bearings towards the purchase history . Thank you
and is it true that cp more likely to fulfil wishes. Nbs is my local, walking distance . will this help too ?
thank you so much for answering

Yes it's true. You should declare, although I'm sure many people don't do it either because they don't know or otherwise. My friend coming from Singapore to London but they spent a few days in Paris. The customs officers charged them a lot of duty when they entered London. Something like 20% + small fee for not declaring.
Are they Singaporean or British citizen ?

Online purchases don’t count towards your in-store profile unless an SA places them for you while you are in the store. I have no idea about whether CP is more likely to fulfill wishes than NBS, rather I’d suggest shopping where you find the service to be the best / most enjoyable. Out of curiosity, what bag specs are you hoping for?

dear gelato, when I made my first wish in the store the sa went through my online purchase history and in store history . I didn’t bother to question if the online would count . I just assumed . I usually had it collect in store (if purchased online). I’m after a K25/28. When asked for hardware and colours, I told her Im perfectly fine with GHW or PHW, colours, i said darker blue and red. She shown me she picked a few and put down notes any darker red or blue. And fine with either sellier and retourne. Omg… when Im writing this to you I felt like this wish is a mess. Please give some insight .

The specs in your wish sound perfectly reasonable to me, although the rather limited colour options might hinder your chances a bit. But what’s important is what YOU like, not what increases the odds, so if you feel you have a good relationship with the SA/the store, keep shopping there, otherwise consider switching to a different SA or store if you prefer (but don’t do this solely because you want a Kelly).

Whichever option you choose, I’d also suggest not stressing about getting a Kelly.
thank you for answering my questions. In regards of the colour options do you think I should be specific with the exact colours or leave it as it is. and would amendment of the wish affect the Queue ? I am so grateful to you offering some helpful guidance. Thank you so much

I’d suggest leaving the colours as they are; listing colour families (like darker reds, darker blues) increases your chances compared to being very specific (like only Rouge H, Bleu Nuit) while still ensuring any offer you receive is likely to be something you like. As for making changes, supposedly it pushes you further back in the ‘queue’ or so I heard, but who knows if they actually go down the list in any order or if the allocation is random?
