oh dear the vat shouldn’t apply to them. ultimately they returned to Singapore not staying in the uk. What on earth is the custom doing
Agree with @londinium. I am a U.S. citizen. The last time I was in Paris, then Eurostar to London, a customs official outside the Pablo kiosk specifically told me that I did not have to declare my FSH QB and other purchases in the UK bc my final destination was US. I also asked on the Eurostar and was told the same.

The customs official and Pablo Kiosk were located in GdN Eurostar station.

Seems like orange is in… I was at Harrods and Selfridges today and saw plenty of bags and a KTG in this shade of orange - anyone knows what it’s called? Also quite a few Pegases and an all-yellow Rodeo were available!

Nice display! For a second I thought that was a silver mini Della Cavalleria…

Could that be the classic Orange? I’ve seen a mini Lindy pop up online today and it was Orange. Likewise lots of SLG this season in Orange.

Hi all, I'm in London/Europe on holiday and was hoping to get a Kelly 18 belt in black epsom and rose gold. Today at the Old Bond St store the SA who was helping me said they are sold out (except for a multicoloured one) everywhere! Does anyone know if that is accurate? I haven't had problems finding Kelly belts before in Australia (I have 2 others).

Have you tried calling Customer Service to check stock in the other stores? They are usually quite helpful, although sometimes inventory can be different from what the system shows, but it is worth asking them.

Could be true as my SA said they are waiting for k belt stock generally

Hi all, I have been a very long term client of Hermes (over 10 years) and am now trying to canvas opinion on the state of Hermes and shopping there now. Today I went into CP and to be honest it was perhaps the worst shopping experience of my life. I had to wait for over half an hour for a ‘jewellery expert’ and then when I finally got served, in 30 seconds I was told there was nothing in the Chaine d’ancre style, can they just not tell me that immediately? I then asked if they had any clutches and was immediately told nothing was available, they didn’t even bother to check and was told that they haven’t seen a Jige in MONTHS!! I mean are they pulling my leg? I then asked for CDC stock and there was an okay amount and came home with a matte gold croc in ghw which is lovely in fairness.

Last week at NBS I was told the line was 1:30 hours! I mean surely that is unacceptable. Is this the new norm? I love the bags, love the colours etc. but the SA’s bar literally a couple are really quite dour. I’m going to try the Royal Exchange as people here say it’s better but I have shopped at CP for years and it is a shame.

It just seems service has gone down, stock is none existent and queuing is now standard. I remember when I could get wish list B,K,C in a couple of months and that was only a few years ago. Is this a trend everyone is experiencing, as I’m personally seeing more and more of it.

If anyone can attest that RE is better please do, I know it’s smaller but do they still stock leather goods well etc?

Unfortunately it does seem like the extremely low inventory and long waiting times are the current norm. I was at Harrods and Selfridges last week and apparently the wait was 2.5 hours! Luckily I had made an appointment prior to coming so I didn’t have to wait, but I also couldn’t buy what I had wanted to buy due to genuinely low inventory. Your CDC sounds lovely!

If you’ve been a long-time customer at CP, don’t you have a regular SA/SAs there to at least schedule appointments and check stock in advance (for non-bags)?
