I don't have a home store, I live far up the north of England and we don't have any designer stores around here at all really, it is either a good 3 and half hours - 4 hours to the nearest one.

It's PITA. I spend quite some time in Scotland, our Glasgow store has closed.

My recommendation is not rushing this time but waiting until your next trip to London. plan ahead, stay the night and go in the morning. H is another world at 10.30am.

I've been at CP many times and witnessed people turned away almost at once after asking for bags. After NBS, it's probably my go-to store. There are always exceptions but we need to be responsible. What we don't want to do is recommend people fly to London, waltz in to CP whereupon like magic, C/B/Ks fall from the sky. I can guarantee that just one single post implying bags are shelled out in such a fashion for walk-ins would provoke such an avalanche, that almost immediately CP will officially make it their policy to not offer any more bags to walk-ins.

They never ever offer outright for the quota bag. But what I said is that CP has made a fulfilment on wishlist (of course with less to no spending history) to some clients. At least many people I know.... I know more than 10 people who just come as walk in and put their name down for the bag. Waiting around 8 months or renewal wish another round. (SA told me that the thrid renewal will be marked as priority without seeing purchase history)

Some of them has nothing in thier profile and got B30 in togo classic colour, mini kelly or even crocodile birkin.

If we are already thier existing clients, it seems only one way is to keep spending to cultivate relationship with them. But for people who do not want any other things apart from Quota bags, CP may be the best place to put thier name down.
