Yep, there's no advantage in shopping in the UK airport boutiques anymore, there are no duty free prices since the "brilliant" decision to end VAT-free shopping...

Thanks for the info!
it’s still a little bit cheaper compared to US prices. I’m looking for a rodeo pegase either in PM or MM, is it easy to get in London? I’ve shopped at CP & Selfridges before but I don’t have a dedicated SA.
TIA!

I would say it’s down to luck to be honest… I’ve had times where my Harrods or CP SA would happily show me colour combinations available in stock, and other times it’s as if you’re trying to get hold of a Birkin Faubourg!
All I can say is say is just try your luck in the different boutiques.

thank you for sharing. I’ll be visiting London next month, can’t wait! It’s a beautiful city!

what does SO mean?

It seemed like my sales associate was ready to make my wish happen last time I was in store in London - and I got super excited but still no email :( It's all so mysterious. I'm now on my second Wishlist for a K (A few months in, last year's expired). I'm still hopeful but the emotional roller coaster is getting to me!

SO means Special Order also known as A La Carte. This is when you are given the opportunity to completely customise the bag yourself, think of it like a build a bear but for quota bags haha. You choose B/K/C and then go through leathers, colour, stitching, hardware etc. then the request is sent to Paris to be made, it would be a dream to do a SO

You can choose more styles than just B/K/C for A La Carte. SAs and store managers like that a lot. :graucho:
