I have no reason to suspect your SA is lying to you.
In case you are worried about exchanging items bought in Selfridges in another London store - there are no issues

Thank you! DH and I made it to cadogan this am and met a really nice SA in the bag display room who explained the wish list system (we did not ask but were of course curious to learn about it. We did explain that our home store was nyc). We also met another nice one up in RTW who explained that the London shops kind of divvie up the collection among them.
Thought about a Getty cross body bag in etoupe chèvre (@cravin put the bag on my radar). The same bag is also at Harrods, but for display only there. @Prada Prince, we loved the view and the friendly atmosphere of your home store
@maxroxxherhandbags, we did not make it to Selfridges this trip, but hope to do so next time! Thought I saw another TPFer @ Cadogan but I wasnt entirely sure so didn’t say anything lol.Thank you guys for all thr shopping tips!

Harrod’s Femme has some of the most amazing RTW, I think they try to bring in runway as well as exceptional pieces for their clients. I think always worth a visit as you will get to see up close, pieces which are rarer and as mentioned, the SAs there are really welcoming. I like that the building itself has character and is such a rabbit warren, by now I have managed learn to find the nearest ladies toilets on every floor within 5 mins, it’s my small but useful achievement.

Went into NBS today and saw someone choosing their SO so it seems the right time to ask.
I have started my H journey last year in May and the only thing that I bought back then was a 90x90 scarf. On that same day both me and my partner's mum (also a fellow H lover) placed our wishes. She has not bought anything then, but in a month she got an email saying that her quota Kelly was waiting for her in the store. She's been an Hermes client before, but prior to the last Kelly, she has not made any purchase for at least 5 years.
Me, my partner and his mom only shop We've been to the NBS store multiple times since then, but we haven't bought that much, or spend so much - I'm talking a few cups, 2 pairs of shoes, twillies, a hat, got a watch serviced, the only items that were on my profile were the scarf and a pair of shoes. At the beginning of this year I was offered the exact bag that I placed a wish for - Kelly 28 retourne in Vert Cypress in Togo with GHW. So it is possible to score it in a popular location without an extensive shopping list, you just have to establish a relationship. Good luck!
