So any chance do you know what’s the roughly spending ratio for a Kelly 28? I understand different SA might vary but just an estimation? I’m new to Hermes, would love to get more idea, hope can get my dream bag soon!!!

It can vary quite a bit but will depend somewhat on which K28 you're after - are you hoping for specific and highly sought after specs? Or are you more flexible?

It also feels like there's been alot of newcomers over the past few months trying to build up a purchase history (as opposed to building a long term relationship with Hermes), whilst many long term clients are still waiting on offers so demand is high and competition is steep! For a first bag at the moment, I doubt 1:1 will cut it. I'd expect 2:1 with the risk of even higher if rumours are true that Hermes is moving from 2 quota bags per year to only one...

My 8 months on a wish list has expired now and have spent nearly 1.5:1, feeling quite disheartened as this is the biggest store and I know other have received bags. How much of this is down to my SA and should I switch SA to renew my wish list?
I think it depends what your wish is. Some wishes take longer than others. If you are happy with your SA I wouldn’t switch. The wish is independent of who your SA is anyway.

My wish is a B25 in various colours so I don’t think it would be necessarily a difficult wish to fulfil during the time. My SA is quite senior which makes me wonder, they are always helpful at appointments and orders items in for me too. I would like to think it is the scarcity of stock but with my spend and 8 months passed I feel a bit let down.

I do believe there is a scarcity of stock, especially in B25s. Let’s hope one appears soon.

Hi dear, I personally think you should renew your list with your current SA, seeing as there aren’t really any problems with your relationship. I have read in some cases that people get their offer a few months after renewing their wish. Now everyone’s experience is different, but I hope this happens for you!

Thank you, yes we are considering we should try again with renewing and see how it goes before switching.

If I’m not mistaken, you shared that you were offered a K25 right before Christmas… did you decline the offer?
If you, on the other hand got the bag, I think you will have to wait a little bit longer before being offered a second one…I would not switch SAs in any case

That was my husbands offer not mine and also it was a different store. I think it’s true when they say men get more offers! Thanks for the advice, I think I will keep my current SA and hopefully get an offer!

I'm new to the Hermes world. I used to use a Hermes horse saddle for equestrian. I'm deciding to start my purchase history in NBS, I'm going for a Vibrant colours Birkin 30 or 35. I have a few questions, 1. Should I go to the store and buy clothes and shoes every month? 2. What's the minimum recommended purchase every time? 3. Usually how long of buying Hermes products until I can get a Birkin bag? Much appreciated!

Went to H yesterday afternoon, the SA who initially made my wish was busy with another customer so I was assigned a different one. (I don’t have a spending history with the previous SA as there was no stock at the time). Finally I could purchase some items in stock with the new SA and I actually preferred him.. do I need to ask him to be in charge of my wish from now on? Or is it just automatically assumed the more I visit him? I wasn’t entirely sure, some insight would be appreciated!

Every case seems to be different. But usually you will need to spend 1:1 or 1.5:1 to get a Birkin or Kelly. The size you’re after may be easier as well. Sometimes it can take 3 months or 8 months after making the wish. I would visit every month to purchase something with your SA.
