Visited NBS yesterday and they were lovely:smile:
I was able to pop in during lunch. I asked to see an SA and was shortly after added to the waiting list for a leather goods consultation. They were fine with me coming back later in the day (given the waiting time was approx 30mins it was too long in between for work). The shop was busy with quite a few tourists - surprising to me given new omicron rules in play.
After a few hours, I came back a after work for my appointment and the same lady taking bookings recognised me. She welcomed me back with a smile. She assigned me to an SA shortly after I arrived (just enough time to do a quick loop of the first floor, saw some ladies with their croc B/C bags whom were tended to immediately and taken to a quiet spot in the home section).
I was next. The SA assisting me was lovely, he was able to show me sample B bags and help me modify some of my wish list requirements once we discussed sizing, leathers and colours in more detail.
In the meantime I could see a petite lady getting very impatient - even though she walked in with an ostrich K she clearly had zero patience and *cough* etiquette/EQ... she kept asking about the display bags and why they weren't for sale. She also was getting so impatient that she threatened to leave the boutique. The poor hostess had to ask her kindly not to, reassuring her that she would be tended to. I don't understand why some people come across as just so entitled! It's shameful but also laughable. She was told "no bags available today" quite swiftly when making her demands with her poor SA.
All in all a pleasant experience. I did not purchase anything in the end but at least they gave me the time of the day to compare some of the leathers and colours I had questions on.
I will definitely continue shopping at my preferred H location in London. Service there is always so friendly with zero wait time.

Yay! Glad to hear you also had a good experience making your wish at NBS. Now we wait!!:panic:

Very smooth visit today, I did have time to wait and apparently it was up to 2 hours, because people were taking their own sweet time in the store. I was assigned an SA whom I know, after 30 mins wait (mine was off) and collected my preordered Carlottas in 5 mins with my email reference. Was asked if I needed anything else, but I said I would return another day when it wasn’t heaving, so that someone else could be helped.
Enjoy your new Carlottas! I got a pair last spring and really like them. Saw they had them back in stock when I went to my store last week

I’m seriously surprised at the kind of behaviours at the boutiques!!!
When an SA tell you a display bag is not for sale then that should be that…Pressing and asking why why why isn’t going to achieve anything other than making you a really annoying person! Anyone who has experienced the incessant ‘why’ of a child asking for snack they can’t have could tell you …

I guess all variable - some say nothing compares to Paris... I agree though that i have always had a great experient at the bond street store. They are all very nice there.
2 years ago I came with a Birkin for spa not long before Xmas and the head of repair dept (no idea what her job name was), super nice French lady took me round the store and we talked about leathers and how the artisan work. It was a great experience, also only time ever I got champagne there lol

Just looking for some advice. I’m going in to see my SA on Monday as I’m looking to purchase a wallet. My wish expires at the end of this month and I wondered if I should casually mention it? Or if perhaps it’s not the done thing. I can’t help but hope I get my wish before the year is out- but I know stock is low and am realistic enough to acknowledge it may not happen.

I “casually” asked my SA last week as my WL is due to expire to. I also said there was no pressure due to it being Xmas and limited stock availability. She was happy I said that as I didn’t want to appear pushy or entitled but just wanted to give a gentle nudge/ reminder of my WL item and “hey, hi, hello … I’m still here waiting lol.” If it’s meant to be it will happen, if not, I need to patiently wait a bit longer. I see this as a long journey as there are so many WL items I want. Hope you guys all receive something soon.

if you don't see your SA frequently, why shouldn't you raise it.
I'm sure your SA would look more favourably upon that than another (insert expletive) text from someone else.

yes definitely. Mine too expires at the end of the year. Causally brought it up when I saw my SA last month and emailed this week. I was very casual and polite about it as I was waiting on a few other items as well, but feels like stock for everything is very low! I’m already planning on popping into the store at year end to renew the wish list… trying to be realistic.

I will definitely give my wish list a casual mention. But like you I’m trying to be very realistic. I think that I may be getting another Chanel Classic Flap for Christmas and sadly not my dream Kelly! I would love to receive that magical email with an offer- it would be my first. But patience is key with Hermes!
