Ciro is my SA and I adore him!!! he's always honest-kept in touch during lockdown and is never pushy!
He 'gets me!' its because of Ciro that I've given up my dream of a 40 Birkin-if he says its too big for me I know he's right-I trust him implicitly
Right?!
I said I want the mini Kelly and he was literally like “Melissa..! You cannot fit ANYTHING in it! Your phone, no! Why you want a useless bag?!”
I’ve told him that the priority is a B30 in black with GHW. Even better if it’s in the new Sellier style.
He understands that I’m bad with colour and that the colours will come after I get neutrals and black!
He also loves my bf and always jokes with him that I’m terrible because he showed me a lovely scarf and I veto’d it because it had a smidge of blue in the pattern and “I don’t do blue”.
Also told me he won’t bother showing me Rodeos because I don’t love them enough so he won’t sell it to me lol

It really depends on you meeting and clicking with someone who gets you and your style. I find this so much more important and helpful than a direct recommendation sometimes. I wish you much luck finding the perfect SA for you, as I think everyone would have different experiences even with the same SA at the same store.

Aww thank you all for such lovely responses. I will definitely take my time visiting the boutiques and hopefully will find someone that clicks with me. Given the current situation in the UK, I assume everything is by appointment only correct?

So sweet! His name came up several time in this chat so I would love to meet him! Haha, it’s always nice to find a SA that treats you well and is not pushy. My current SA in Canada is such a sweetheart too and we became good friends and hangout on the weekend as well. Really hope I can find a nice SA in London!

I seem to notice it’s possible for clients to queue and then walk in without appointments on weekdays especially at the concessions, but if you are pressed for time, at weekends it’s better to have an appointment. Who know you might your H fairy then.

Hi everyone, I've very recently added a ''wish'' for a Birkin in the London Bond Street store and was wondering how long it was likely to take... I'd be really interested to know what everyone's experience has been, so please share!

Also, I've asked for a Birkin 35, which I understand is currently less popular than a Birkin 25 or 30, do you think that makes it more likely that I'll be offered one soon?

Hoping that my wish will come true in time for Christmas... Look forward to hearing about everyone's experiences and thoughts x
