Went to H Selfridges London on Saturday afternoon. Was looking for a necklace they didn’t have in stock. Gave me a chance to update my wish list though. My usual SA was on holiday though so someone else updated it for me. Well organised and short waiting period for an SA.
Ooh - sounds intriguing, what necklace was that?

Oh gosh, nothing exciting or rare, just that cheap O Kelly necklace! It’s online so ordered it off there instead. But I rarely wear necklaces/chains and it’s simple and matches my existing every day jewellery :)
I also needed a pick me up because before I went to Selfridges, we had lunch out and they left something in my dish which chipped my tooth and I was grumpy!

This is true! Anything in an orange box is exciting!
Hopefully it arrives tomorrow or Saturday maybe!
Ugh, my tooth is ok, I don’t need work on it but it’s now sensitive to temperature when I eat and drink which never used to be the case. I was actually more mad about how the restaurant handled (or rather didn’t) it.

Hi I am happy to recommend my lovely SA's at Selfridges they are both really helpful and friendly.
Ciro is the leather specialist and Joseph is jewellery and watches but both have helped me with scarves and other items

just come from selfridges and the whole team are lovely. ❤️ I really liked Beatrice in particular, she was so helpful and I managed to tick nearly all items from my wish list and more. I really wanted a rose gold and diamond bracelet they didn’t have in stock she was able to source in Europe and order it in for me. They also explained the new system they are doing for quota bags. X

Hi, I’m new to H and trying to understand the waitlist system:
I would like to purchase some SLGs and maybe some boots and hopefully, one day, a Kelly. I don’t have any purchase history as yet - if I purchase the SLGs will I be able to ask to be put on the waitlist? I completely understand that I may never be offered a bag, but am I able to even get on the list with only a few purchases?

I don't think anyone understands the waiting list! But it Works out in the end. The short answer is yes, go direct to Hermes buy your SLg or whatever you want and ask them about a bag. It is unlikely they will have one there and then, but with a little patience it could materialise.

Hello ladies! First post on this thread, but how often do you visit your SA? I haven’t been in a while and wonder if they will “forget” about my wishlist? :hrmm:
Also that SA offered me a C18 the first time I have met her after I bought 2 pairs of shoes! Do you think since I got my first bag with her already my wait will be longer? She also told me to change my wishlist to not too specific so it would be easier for her to look after me. Is that true?

I live in London so it’s easy for me to visit my SA. I’ll always pop in even if I’m not looking for anything.
I also keep in touch with him via social media and Whatsapp.
I don’t think your wait will be longer/shorter. She is probably right in saying to be less specific because if you are tooooo specific, it means that they will only contact you if the exact specification comes in. And it may depend on how many other clients want the same thing as you.

Thank you! Do you buy something whenever you are in store? I also live not too far from the store and feel almost obliged to buy something whenever I visit her especially in Covid situation which I normally need to arrange (email her) before I come in.
