Thank you for the info! I don't have an SA yet so I will take your advice and go early on a weekday.

No trouble, good luck!

When I was last in store a little over a week ago, there seemed to be plentiful stock of goodies on the shop floor and the atmosphere is wonderfully calm with more restricted numbers in store.

Any idea does new bond st store have nano scarfs? :hrmm: I’d love to get one to wear with hazlan and on my ponytail. Or even better if heathrow’s terminal 5 have them in stock?

Hello all, I’m from the Channel Islands and my Paris trip got cancelled so I’ve changed my plans to go to central London.
I have a list of items that I want from jewellery, homeware and shoes. I am aware stock maybe low at the moment due to COVID, but would like to work with an SA where I am in hope to score a B/K. Where is the best place for me to try my luck? TIA

The stores in London just started a new system regarding quota bags in which the SAs will add their clients’ wish lists in the app and nobody knows exactly how it’s going to work From now on, so just be aware that it may not be a good time...good luck!

Hi I am happy to recommend my lovely SA's at Selfridges they are both really helpful and friendly.
Ciro is the leather specialist and Joseph is jewellery and watches but both have helped me with scarves and other items
I think I know all Selfridges SAs by now and I do like them in general, but you are right, Ciro is awesome. If you are working with him I’m sure you are having a great experience and he can definitely help you with whatever you want.

this will be like lottery, you don’t know what you’re getting.
One has to pick her wishlist so carefully

I’m not sure how is it going to work yet, but combined with the COVID restrictions, meaning not being able to be in the store so often, I have to confess it’s giving me an extra anxiety boost. I’ve thought 20 times today only about editing my wishlist and in my store you can’t call them and it’s not appropriate to talk about bags by email. :panic:

Regarding the new order/ quota system. Its been on for 7 months at least at the Hermes on Sloane Street. You have to be very specific and choose leather, hardware, colour and size all upfront and your wishlist is then uploaded and has a timer for 8 months. If you are unsuccessful you have to come back in and 'refresh' the online request.

I ordered a Hermes Kelly 28 Sellier in Noir with Ghw in Epsom approx 8 months ago and it came in about a month and a half ago. I was surprised I didn't have to wait that long as a my SA in louis vuitton Harrods had to refresh their request 3 times.

On a side note scoring a Birkin, Constance or Kelly in Sloane Street in nigh on impossible, all stock is reserved for clients and those who ordered. You might have a chance if you go at opening as that is when clients come in and collect their bags from the manager etc..

Glad that you got your dream bag !
Do you know how many options shall I put in the waiting list.
I mean Do I have to be specific of which bag I wanfor example B30 and give few options for color &HW

Or I can say either B30 or K28 and add my color preferences?
I mean I’m on the look for B30, but I wouldn’t say no to K28 as it is in my wishlist as well

I knew precisely what I wanted when I went in but as far as I'm aware you have to be completely specific. The online form is a scroll list for the choices and will only except 1 option for colour, hardware, leather etc.

The Sloane street store in particular has a reputation, so if you are not a frequent shopper there, than the other stores may be worth a try. By saying you would have either a birkin or kelly it will come off as going after the bags for the status and not for the style.

If you can demonstrate that only one item will do then they are far more likely to help. I always go in being very specific and with full knowledge of what I want and they seem to respect that as it shows appreciation for the brand. When I put in my wishlist I was doing my Christmas shopping at the same time so that definitely helped.
