Hermes boutiques in London

Selfridges was super quiet today - H was empty when I went! My usual SA wasn’t in so I didn’t stop to chat for too long.

Nothing really new in terms of fashion jewellery or Twilly’s that caught my attention.

No bags of interest to report on either.

NBS was also incredibly quiet (not just the H store but in general). I must admit, it was nice to walk around Central London without the usual pedestrian congestion.

Probably that Team A works M/W/F ( for example) and Team B T/Th/Sat, to decrease the incidence of cross contamination and the entire workforce being out at the same time. But I could easily be incorrect.
However, please see that a number of US sites are going to closing the retail stores within house by appointment only. SAs to be able to do remote appts and selling.

Was on NBS yesterday - Dior, Chanel, H. H very quiet but still needed to wait a bit for leather and lipsticks. SAdid not disclose protocol but said they have a plan in place. At Dior they admitted to splitting into two teams as of Monday.

Yes, this seems to be the plan in many luxury boutiques, split teams and reduced hours. We will see if they all move toward temporary closures.

Went to Hermes Royal Exchange at lunch. I was the only customer there for the whole time and had some great service! They had about six people there. There is a Lindy 30 available in a teal colour (wasn’t sure exact colour) if anyone is interested!

Hey we just missed each other! When I was in there was another customer with my SA so I just had quick catch up chat with the other SAs/SM.

I will return this week if possible

yes some of us have to keep the ball rolling. But there is a dilemma here because now the government is pushing for self isolation, minimum contact and saving the NHS...

Agree with you - it’s a tricky one. On one hand I want to show support to retail and hospitality industries in London. But on the other hand, I know I shouldn’t ignore the advice being said by the government and other experts.
