Same here. I’m Chinese ethnicity so they literally just assume I’m a tourist. However I’ve managed to build up some loyalty to Bond St and Selfridges so it’s a bit easier now.

Even thought I only have a lowly Herbag with a Twilly and bangles, it seems to generate a little more willingness to converse about B and K’s!

I think it is normal for any store to want to begin a relationship with someone who is actually resident and I feel the London stores are loyal to those residing in the UK. Just be patient.

Sorry I just meant that initially they didn’t seem to want to build a relationship as they just assumed I was a tourist due to being chinese when in fact I was born and reside in London.

Oh no I did understand that. You are well on your way. When I was resident they assumed I was a tourist as well, for about a year until I found my SAs.

Hi All

I am planning to London in next month. I would like to try B or K in London either build relationship with SA or try my luck as tourist.

May I know that our profiles are same in London and Paris?

Can they check ?

Hope you all can give me some advise.

Finally started my Hermes Journey in London! I know it is very difficult to get hold of a b/k/c here...

I have met a nice Sa and have started building my profile with her (over 1:1.3 now and all in fine jewerls). My SA is aware of the fact that I am settled in London.

I have discussed my preference (very specific as it is for my special birthday day!) with my sa and she said I can trust her to look for the bag for me. She also mentioned that it is achievable within the time frame I hope but she can’t guarantee as deliveries are unpredictable.


Can anyone please share your estimated waiting time for your desired bag?
Has anyone had bad experience when you have built good profile with your sa but not being offered a b/k/c? I have heard people spending over £10K without getting anything..

At CP I was told by SA I can put request of interest in buying B/K, so I did. He put me on 8 months waiting list and asked the extra questions in regards of leather/coulor preference, however informed me that it’s not 100% offer. He emailed me the request, however I did not receive phone call from CP within 8 months. So maybe it worked for someone, but not me.

Hi All:

I will travel to London in May and would like to purchase a Picotin 18/22. After browsing youtube, I was totally shocked to find out that a lady was required to buy other things before SA offered her a Herbag!!!!! Come on, she was not asking for B, K, C!!! Is it normal in London stores?
How much do I need to spend until SA can offer me a bag? :confused1::confused1::confused1::confused1::confused1::confused1::confused1::confused1:
