Hi All:

I will travel to London in May and would like to purchase a Picotin 18/22. After browsing youtube, I was totally shocked to find out that a lady was required to buy other things before SA offered her a Herbag!!!!! Come on, she was not asking for B, K, C!!! Is it normal in London stores?
How much do I need to spend until SA can offer me a bag? :confused1::confused1::confused1::confused1::confused1::confused1::confused1::confused1:

Thank you!

I bought recently Evelyne PM at Selfridges and it was straightforward, got 2 hardwares to choose from (I decided on the colour) and nobody wanted me to buy anything else (+ the experience was fantastic, got to try Birkin from the display:biggrin:, got perfume samples etc.)

Don’t believe everything you see in YouTube

Wow! Love this coat! [emoji173] I have lots of questions. I assume it's from this seasons collection. Do you happen to know the name of the coat? I don't think we got it in the US stores but really want it!
Thank you! It’s from F/W 18. The shearling bottom is a vest you can wear separately, so it’s a 3 in 1. Very versatile, but I don’t know the name and it was a very limited piece. My store only had 1. If I find the receipt somewhere, I’ll send you the name.
Maybe big stores keep a few important pieces from previous collections? You should ask. Good luck!

I’ll be going to London for a week in August, and while it’s still months away, can anyone please let me know how the stock is for a Lindy 26 in the boutiques as well as Heathrow? I’m primarily looking for Noir L26 GHW and prefer GHW, but wouldn’t mind PHW if it’s a color I really like such as rose azalée. Besides noir, I’m also interested in dark blues and lighter pinks. I assume that NBS has the biggest selection, but can anyone local share what Lindys they have seen (size, color) in any London location? And how hard is it to buy a Lindy in London since it’s a non quota bag? Appreciate any responses, thank you!

Harrods and NBS usually have good inventory but it’s impossible to predict what will be available in advance. Bear in mind July/August the artisans are on holiday so incoming stock will not be in abundance. As for Heathrow you can call on the day you are leaving and they may tell you what they have but will not reserve for you anymore as they’ve stopped doing that now, it’s first come first served.

Thanks for your helpful reply!

If you are not worried about detaxing you could still make a saving if you order from the uk website and have it delivered to store for collection, you would need to allow 3-5 business days but the store holds the items for 21 days I believe so you could start looking a couple weeks before you travel. HTH.

I’ve been told at NBS to come for bags in the morning as the stock then is the best. Hope it helps
