Another possibility is buying it online and having it delivered to your hotel. I've done so in the past, having no luck finding one that I like in any of the stores around town. I quickly checked the UK Hermes website and saw there are a handful of color options for Halzan Mini and GP. The downside of doing so, however, is that you don't get to claim your VAT back (if that's what you plan on doing), but you at least get the visibility of what's available for purchase.

The best shop to built a relarionship with is selfridge by far followed by harrods and sloane street. They are the store that will really offer you bag and communicate well although selfridge new opening required a lot of new SA which didnt have all the time to get familiar with the products. Normally you will have to spend around 10k accumulating non leather product before your first k/b will be offered. Bond Street is really the worse, and they will still give you the ******** “if we have stock we will sell” even for a picotin. Last time they had like 5 picotin (i manage to peak when the SA was checking the stock for another customer) and lied to a customer that they didnt. They keep saying selfridge destroy the brand reputation by saying that you have to built a good profile to be able to offer a bag and the they are really not on good term with selfridges hermes people. I really hate shoppig there and would never ever step in there because they really just lie to you so how are we suppose to built a relationship with an SA? They keep saying if they have stock they will offer but that will never ever ever happen, maybe 0.1%. They are so rude urgh i just cant with that store
