Saw GRIS TARMAC in person today ... Absolutely in love with the color, steely elephant gray with no undertone, but - very dry and veiny handles and corners (marbley white veins)!! Body leather is heavenly though a wrinkly and moist, what a shame
I really want to own one but now I am very hesitant due to these reasons...
I'm happy to hear that it is an elephant, steely gray with no undertones. Not great about the handles and corners but mine is already on the way so we shall see. Not sure I care that the handles are dry, but the marbly white veins will bother me. I'll post photos as soon as she arrives which should be Wednesday or Thursday.
i wanted to also add that i had my SA take out ALL 5 PT's , 3 City's and 2 Towns for my inspection... alas, all of them had very dry handles with white vein in various degrees. the piping and corners of the PT and City's have the same problem too... perhaps it's just this batch? 
I'm waiting patiently for Cumin. I love my Canard Town..perfect size for me and lightweight. I want another Town..in Cumin!
Was just in NY this weekend and saw the fall colors. I couldn't decide between Cassis and Gris Tarmac (they are both beautiful in person) but in the end went for the GT City w/ RGHW. Both Cassis and GT looked great with SHW too but I actually wanted the more muted/neutral look so went with the RGHW. Will post pics soon.
BTW, now that I've been looking at the smaller hardware, I've gotten to like them and when I saw some bags with the larger hardware in the store, it almost looked too gaudy.

I received some more photos from a different Bal Boutique and these (especially casis) look less dull than the photos that I got from Bal NY. Or maybe it is just me

If my GT with mSGH looks like this current photo, I will be happy. Assuming the leather is decent. I love this color and it is just what I have been looking for. Kind of like Gris Fonce.
