I'm hoping that after my 3rd glass of wine I will be brave enough to order the blue suede city from HG bags!
.....but I'm not sure whether I should wait and see how cumin looks as it could resemble my HG 05 caramel....but the blue suede is soooooo pretty!

honestly,i am kina disappointed at this FW season's color.

but i do like Gris Tarmac, since i only have black ,dark night, cyclamen , and blue lavender color, i think i really need something is grey/dark green tone. but i think i will need to wait "crocus" and "poker founce" those 2 colors are in store, then will decide which one i am going to get.

  • Mangue - right now, it looks kind of like Moutarde, but it's kind of hard to tell with the lighting. Might look nice with the silver hardware.

I'm great CeeJay. And you? I think the Mangue has more orange than Moutarde and is a bit more vibrant, at least on my monitor. Maybe somewhere between Moutarde and Jaune?

I know there isn't much love so far for Gris Tarmac, but my SA says it is a true gray with no real undertones and I've been in the market for something gray that wasn't too light or as dark as Anthra. I should have it in a few days, so will know for sure. I'm hoping the mSGH will make it more gray than the mRGGH. Will post photos when she shows up.

Yes, I will post photos when I get the bag. Will try to take some comparison shots so you have a better idea of the color. Did you see the photo of the RH Gris Tarmac city that I posted yesterday?

I do love my original '07 Anthra, but - YES - a "true grey" is a great choice! The Mangue sounds very promising; maybe they'll have it in LA during my visit!

yes, i did, i like that gris tarmac color. since i dont have any of grey color. i might get this gris tarmac.

If you go to hgbagsonline there is a pic of a mimosa city. Then you can compare that one and the mangue clutch side by side. Mangue seems more orange to me.

*** WARNING ***

Saw GRIS TARMAC in person today ... Absolutely in love with the color, steely elephant gray with no undertone, but - very dry and veiny handles and corners (marbley white veins)!! Body leather is heavenly though a wrinkly and moist, what a shame :(

I really want to own one but now I am very hesitant due to these reasons...

^^ Oh Dear. I wish Bal would be a tad more consistent. I like that every bag is different, but I don't care for veiny leather. I want this color, too, and I have to buy sight-unseen, so I suppose I will buy from somewhere with a good return policy, lol.
