Nice photos. i like the leather and color. you made me want to order GT classic city RIGHT NOW.:smile1:

but i already have black and dark night color. Do you think if i order GT, the color will be too close ? but i really want to get something is between dark grey. OR should i wait another couple weeks to see poker founce and then decide?

Thank you. And last, your bag is really nice, enjoy!!

Some comparison photos of Gris Tarmac, Gris Ciment and Greige. Not the most accurate as far as the colors go. But they should give you an idea of the difference. They sure make Greige look Taupe and not Gray!

And last but not least, a new feature! Inside pockets!

Well, Poker Fonce is green, I think. So if you are thinking about green as opposed to gray, then yes, wait and see which you like best.

As far as Gris Tarmac being too close to black and dark night, I have both as well. The reason I like GT is that is is lighter than Anthra. When I had an Anthra bag, I always seemed to choose black to wear when I could have used Anthra. I think it is a personal opinion type of thing. GT is lighter and so I think that it is enough different than black that I will use it differently. For me, Dark Night is blue so a different color family and I would use it with different clothes than either black, anthra or GT.

Congrats!!! I really like GT! And I love love the new extra pockets! My phone always gets lost on my bag as I never use the front pocket and find the inner zipped pocket fiddly. So this is actually perfect.

Thanks for the pics. In your first few pics, GT reminded me of Ardoise. But with your later pics, I can see no obvious blue tones in the grey. It looks truly grey! Like a nice elephant grey. (love elephants!) I think you went with the right hardware. It looks amazing with the cool silver!

And the veins don't bother me either! Great bag! Congrats again!!

I LOVE it!!!!!! I agree; it's a great Grey .. and while I have an '07 Anthra, I find I'm always reaching for one of my (many) RED bags - HA! What can I say, I love Red!!!

LOVE the inside pockets; hallelujah .. Bal actually added a feature!! WOO-HOO!!!

okay, here are some more photos which I hope will be better and more helpful.
The first photo shows what the color looks like outdoors. I think it is fairly accurate.
The next two show the color indoors pretty accurately.
The final two show the white veins on the handles and corners. They don't bother me at all, but some might not like them.
I don't find any of the leather dry. Again, subjective.

Congrats TMitch6542, love it!!! It looks like a beautiful, straight-up charcoal gray and silver hw is the perfect compliment! :D

Thank you. Agree it is an Elephant gray. Nothing like Ardoise, which I purchased and then sold almost right away because to me it was more blue than gray. On this GT bag, I was hoping that the silver would make the most of the gray color and I think it did. By the way, I put a bit of moisturizer on the handles and the veins basically disappeared. But regardless, to me, a few veins on the handles are okay. Rather see Bal use the veiny leather there, than on the body of the bag.

Yep, CeeJay, I'm with you. Love the Reds. It seems to be my color of choice if I veer off from the basic neutrals.

Hooray for the inside pockets! I am liking the new Mini Giant City more and more :graucho:. Thank you so much for the info and pictures.
Have you seen GT with rose gold IRL? I am so curious how it would look like. I have Plomb Work GSH and always admired Antra with RGGH, but never got a chance to own it. So, i was hoping to get GT with rose gold instead. Any advice?

Thank you for your reply. :smile1:I think I will get GT classic city once we have it here in Holt Renfrew.

i like their new inside pocket, i always need to find my phone or lip stick, now i have small pocket to put.

Enjoy your new bag.

No, I didn't even see this bag IRL before I bought it. I just had to rely on the photos that my SA sent, which inclued one with rose gold, by the way. did you see the photos I posted a few days ago of the new colors. The rose was among them.

Ooohh inside pockets! Yaay. And congrats, TMitch - that bag looks lovely. I didn't think I'd like grey, but that one is just as someone else here described it, an elephant grey. It's beautiful. Enjoy using!

My Gris Tarmac mGSH just arrived and I love this color. It is a true, medium gray without any undertones. The leather is nicely wrinkled and soft. As for the handles and corners, there are a few white lines, but the leather doesn't feel dry to me. Maybe I'm just not as picky as some others, but I think this bag is great. I've added some crummy iphone photos. Will try to get better shots of the handles and corners tonight with my camera. Will also post some color comparison shots.

Congratulations on your new purchase. It really looks beautiful. I am anxiously waiting for comparison pics if you have Anthracite in your collection. :D

I really wonder if I should wait for Crocus or just get Jacynthe now... I have a budget for one bag this season... Um...

Will Jacynthe be sold out before Crocus appear ?

Thanks for these pictures, TMitch - and congrats on your new bag! I am really loving the color and hardware - perfect match, in my opinion. And, since you confirm that the leather is nice, I am going to have to see it in person, lol.
