i am aware that this is prolly going to bonk because it is an old thread. i bought a bag from BBOS and am waiting on it's arrival. I then went to purchase a second bag. Checked out and then read purse forum. After reading all of this, I have canceled the second bag... i will buy the valentino elsewhere, and have also had them send me an email stating the bag name and that the order was canceled. i will wait to see the state of the YSL bag. I also canceled my account. Thanks ladies. I will take the canceled money, go to yoogis or ann's whom I have used before and stick with them. sigh. and here I thought it would all be ok...

Is there a reason you decided the second order? I have purchased bags from them that were authentic and as described. Got a few very good deals, too.

I can't remember if I've posted in this thread before, but I've bought several bags from BBOS and I will continue to buy from them. I will say though that recently I've had issues with them not accurately describing the bags I've bought. They had a Chanel that was advertised as black but it was really dark brown and I would have expected them to see that when they took the pictures. Most recently I bought an LV for a couple hundred below retail but the listing did not disclose a smoke odor nor the extent of wear to the handles; I actually ended up returning that (which was my first ever return of a bag I purchased online) and ordered it new from the boutique. With that being said, all of my purchases have checked out as being authentic and my recent experiences haven't soured me on buying from them.

Has anyone dealt with BBOS lately? Like, within the last 6 months or so? I remember reading somewhere that one member had and they had improved. Just curious. I just submitted a bag for sale this morning and am wondering if they offer me a decent amount if I should go ahead and follow through. I'm leery because the last time I did so it took them 3 weeks of me calling and finally messaging them on Facebook to send me my check. While I'm not in a huge hurry this time around (I do have a deadline of October), I just don't wanna deal with the headache again.

Send thoughts/recent experiences, please! TIA.

Has anyone done consignment with Bags Borrow or Steal? I have a pair of Christian Louboutin heels that retail for over 2,000. I was told to send my shoes and I would be paid when they sell....advice would be greatly appreciated!

Yes i would be interested in knowing this too, i just got a quote back from Yoogi's closet and they would give me 350 selling or 400 - 450 on consignment on a pair of Louboutins retailing 1800.00! In new condition!

^ I've sold to BBOS a few times & the process has been easy and totally positive. In all cases, I received a check within a couple of weeks after first emailing them my submission. I really like the finality of an outright sale rather than consigning.

Time to downsize my Coach collection. (Snoopy is taking up too much space now!) I'm far too afraid of eBay because of the stories about buyers scamming sellers, plus I have no seller feedback and based on that, I wouldn't by from myself (and I KNOW I'm trust-worthy). Anyway... most of the online consignment shops seem to deal in premiere brands only, but Bag Borrow or Steal will buy Coach.

Has anyone sold Coach to them? How was your experience?

I just submitted one bag to them for a quote, so we'll see how that goes.

Yes, you are. I'd like to know, too. I have a friend who used to sell on ebay, but she can't right now.

Ack! I hate when they move & merge threads. I wanted to ask Coach gals specifically, and now this is buried in the general shopping forum in a topic that hadn't had activity since last fall. Now I won't even remember where to go looking for this thread.

No disrespect intended to the mods. I know this is a thing you do.

But now the thread isn't where my intended audience hangs out.

I just sold 4 bags to them in the last 2 weeks, 3 of which were Coach. They were all bought within the last 6-9 months, basically new. The prices were decent, between $120-$189 each. You have time to think about their offer, and shipping is free. Overall it was very smooth and I don't regret it at all!
