Experiences with SELLING to Bag Borrow or Steal

I just sold 4 bags to them in the last 2 weeks, 3 of which were Coach. They were all bought within the last 6-9 months, basically new. The prices were decent, between $120-$189 each. You have time to think about their offer, and shipping is free. Overall it was very smooth and I don't regret it at all!

Thanks for your feedback! I submitted just one bag to them for a quote to see how it goes.

How quickly did you get your money?

Once I reviewed the details of the consignment agreement, it seemed terrible.

They have full pricing authority and provide no estimate beforehand.

They keep your item for 120 days.

They have the right to discontinue any time. I do not.

So basically I have no ability to decide if the price is worth it to me.

Wow, that sounds terrible! :-( I don't think I'll bother. I guess I'll stick with ebay. I've sold 2 bags there with no problems so far. I just had 3 listed that didn't sell, guess it's time to lower my prices.

Agree

I'm hesitant to send them a Burberry bag for which I recently paid $1k+ and have buyers remorse.

BUT, it's not selling on ebay and I really want to unload it!

It's brand-spanking new, purchased July 2015.
I carried it a few days then decided "meh"

Ditto on the sentiments about selling your bags to them.
I just submitted a Louis Vuitton Tivoli GM in excellent condition, only to receive an email that they have declined my bag (with absolutely NO explanation.) It is being sent back to me, which has caused a lot of frustration given the fact that I had other offers from Yoogi's and Fashionphile but due to the fact their offer was somewhat more, I decided to go with them.

NEVER AGAIN.

I have a Michael Kors Hamilton Tote. I rarely carry it anymore, and I thought about selling it to Bag Borrow Steal. I know there are two different ways to sell with them but I'm not sure which one is right for me. Has anyone ever sold to them? How was it if you did?

No I have not and im curious to hear from anyone else who may have....I have considered using them in the past but had no info to go on. Plus it appeared they only issued payout in checks or store credit. No option for paypal or DD, so that kind of turned me off....

I just sent BagBorroworSteal a white multicolor Louis Vuitton From the Takashi Murakami Collection and they were great. I first sent them several pictures of the bag and they emailed me a quote which was better than every other outlet that I approached. They gave me one month to accept the quote during which time I looked around - tried a local consignment shop and considered ebay - but finally went with Bagborrow as their offer was very close to what the bag was selling for on ebay. They pay for the shipping to them and once they received it - I was nervous cause it took them two days to let me know they had it and then they emailed that the check was in the mail and I got it surprisingly today which was like only two days after their email that check was in mail. So I sold them my purse outright did not consign with them but they were nothing but absolutely perfect in how they handled my purse and their purchase of it. I can not say how pleased I am enough. Amazing since Rebag had turned my purse down and others offered at least $100 less . I love love love BagBorroworSteal and will do business with them again I am sure of it.

Quite pleased with the selling process, The bag was received on their end on the 19th, got a phone call regarding the payment on the 20th, and on the 21th I got my payment through paypal. At first I didn't think and just sent my bag to BBOS because they gave me a better offer than Fashionphile and after I shipped my bag... I read so many bad review on selling their bags to BBOS. I was kind of freaked out but I'm happy how it turned out!!! Anyway hope it helps anyone that wanted to sell their bags to BBOS.
