Same here! Sent my bag in August 6 and when I asked about the status of the bag, I got the "popularity of the program" spiel. If they want to continue being popular, maybe they should just get off their lazy bums and process them quickly! I've sold to Yoogi's closet before and it was so quick- although like the previous TPF'er, BBOS offered me a higher price. Really regretting sending the bag in now. Any chance you'd know someone I can talk to to get this process sped up a bit?

I'm down 2 bags of my collection and would like to go on an ebay shopping spree to replace them!! UGH BBOS!

IKR. Yesterday I chatted live since they do not answer email and they said they were processing July 26. I complained that not only had I not received an email saying packages were received (I know they were from tracking...but still) and she claimed they are getting 500 bags a day and working as fast as they can. Umm a week ago you were on July 23 so pretty sure you can work faster. I asked to speak to someone who could give a solid answer and make something happen she told me I had to call. After arguing that calling would have same results I called got same answer. I would have loved to ask to speak to a manager but I had spent too much time already and my 2 year old and 2 month old both needed to be attended too. I have an outlet trip planned on Sunday and this was going to fund it. I have never had this experience with them. If you find someone I can complain to (higher up) let me know and I will do same. GL

I don't know why u ladies keep sending your bags there after all the trouble I've heard about. I'd rather post them up on eBay myself or sell outright to a consignment shop.

I send my bags to sell to them because Yoogi's did not accept it due to style and BBOS gave me a fair price for my items. The consignment shops in my area will give me a low offer for my items. I know BBOS is very slow, but I prefer to sell to them rather than selling the item on ebay.

Because they gave me the best price. I did try to sell on EBay. No bids. I did get my check. Exactly the quoted price. My only complaint is the long wait for my check.

I called them and said I refuse to hear the "popular part of the business" or whatever nonsense they're cooking up and told them to send me back the bag. I then asked if she could copy me on the email to the shipping department to send me the bag and she flat-out refused. When I asked for a direct contact, they said they dont have a contact #. I basically got fed a lot of crap and for some reason, I have a feeling they're not going to send me my bag back either.

Bye bye my sweet Prada. Not to mention my hard earned money and sweat and tears. Unless of course, they decide to get their act together and send me that check!

I had a good experience selling a Louis Vuitton bag to them, but the check did take quite some time to arrive. More recently, I sent in a Prada bag after getting a good quote from them. There was no update for a long time and then I found out it got rejected. It was in very good condition with very minor signs of wear, I thought. They sent it back to me, although I wish they would have just offered a lower amount. I have seen many bags on their website for sale with a lot more wear and tear.

WOW!! Not sure how they think they can refuse

UPS tracking said mine was received 8/1 and I got email stating received today and just checked BBOS website and they have been evaluated. So 19 day wait...now waiting on checks

Good luck! I asked them to ship the bag back to me and I sent it off to Yoogi's closet two days ago.

They are HORRIBLE with communication!! I need to vent!!

I sent my bag over 3 weeks ago and got ZERO communication until today when I contacted a live help person on the website. First, I was offered a CRAP amount of $85 for my bag which retailed for $395. I used probably twice and it has no real signs of wear. I was in the process of moving so I didn't care too much because I needed to get rid of some bags.

I was told it would take 10 days to process and when they received my bag I'd get a confirmation email. I NEVER got a confirmation email. Until finally today, I magically got an email shortly after complaining online about the lack of correspondence. So then I checked my account and it says "Declined by Bag Borrow or Steal on Aug 29, 2012 1:23:20 PM" .. REALLY are u effing kidding me? IT TOOK 3 WEEKS to decline my bag and it doesn't even state why? FOR ALL I KNOW THEY COULD HAVE DAMAGED MY BAG IN THE 3 WEEKS THEY HAD IT?!!?! WHAT THE #$*)K?! So now they're sending it back. From my understanding.. the moment they send me a UPS slip, I was to be paid for my bag. I'm so annoyed.. I'm NEVER using this company for ANYTHING.

That's terrible!!! How disappointing and frustrating!

I've had pretty good luck with them (not price wise because I practically give the bags to them) but the last couple of times I've used them, they've been really lax in letting me know my bags arrived and payment is on the way. When I contacted them about it, they said they've been overwhelmed and are running behind. No excuse but luckily I'm able to track my shipments so I know exactly how long it's taking them.....
I've had them return one bag back to me and it was a brand new Coach Clutch. I can only guess the reason being that it was not worth their time to resell. It came back to me in the exact same condition as when I sent it though.

I got a quote earlier this summer for a Prada bag that I was quite happy about. My bag was in very good condition and I had the dust bag and cards to go with it. I sent it off and did not hear anything for quite some time. I finally e-mailed them to find out what was going on and found out that they rejected my bag for wear and tear issues. I have seen many bags on that website with a lot of wear and tear and mine had almost none. They sent the bag back to me. I wish they had offered me a lower price because I would have taken it. I was kind of annoyed with the lack of communication and will probably not try to sell to them again. I am sure you will get your back back, but it is frustrating to deal with!
