I think they reject them right away... I sent in a mint condition LV and within 10 minutes of receiving the bag they rejected it... I am not sure what their standards are, but I feel like they decline just as many as they accept. I think I will stop submitting to them, and just use other means... only because I hate getting my hopes up that they will buy it and then they don't. If they reject because it is an older style, they have pictures and descriptions and don't even have to offer a quote. Very frustrated with BBOS

They have gotten a LOT stricter with quotes and submissions lately. I always have sent in pics of all the sides of the bag, some of the inside, the creed and dustbag. Last week I submitted 2 bags, and they told me they couldn't make an offer until they got pics of the receipts and cards. With all the buzz lately about them doing so many declines, I'm just going to return the bags to the store where I got them, the next time I drive through Missouri (that store chain doesn't have a location near me, so I figured I'd try to sell them). It's not worth the hassle to go through all the stress just to have them possibly declined and sent back to me.

wow, so now they wants receipts AND cards?? What if it's a used bag and you don't have that anymore? I sent my Coach stuff in w/o receipts/cards. Must be because of the fake bag they were slipped.

they declined it 10 minutes after you submit it? that's super quick! it seems like they are decline more now than before. maybe not as many people buying from their BBOS site.

So true about the stress:yes: I don't know why, but when they decline my bag I take it personally:sad:- but after all it is just a bag.

I think that's why - that idiot that sent them a fake. I hope they went after that person.

I am like you, and wondering if they no longer accept ANY bags that don't have the original receipts. :wtf: Receipts and care cards are no indication of authenticity - they can be faked. I sent pics of the creeds (and price tags, even though they can be faked as well) - the CREED on a Coach is what determines authenticity or not. So, they obviously have NO IDEA what they are doing, and I'm over it.

well if you said you have the receipt in the submission, then provide them with a photo of it. I don't see what the problem is.

The problem is that they are trying to use the receipt to determine authenticity, which is ridiculous. The CREED determines authenticity - receipts and care cards can be easily faked, as evidenced by all the scam auctions on the Bay. And people are getting tired of wasting their time and effort, and paying for insurance and DC on shipments of stuff that are just going to get declined and sent back by people who have no clue what they are doing.:noggin:

oh wow, whatever happened to the sole defender of Avelle/BBOS on here. :graucho:

Personally I use www.fashionphile.com (Beverly Hills) to sell my bags. They just sold 3 Burberrys for me a few months ago. One of the bags I paid $999. for at the Burberry store directly across the street from them and after they kept it for a while on their website and twice, two interested buyers fell through due to finances, they then sent it over to e-bay where they keep up with the e-bay bidding. The final bid was $799. of which I got 70%. The bag was a good 4 years old.
