well if you said you have the receipt in the submission, then provide them with a photo of it. I don't see what the problem is.
My point is what if you DON'T have the receipt. I've never claimed to have a receipt or sent a photo of it since the bags were older. I am wondering if the recent fake will change their acceptance procedures. If they do require a receipt, then they will get a lot less bags too.

They have gotten a LOT stricter with quotes and submissions lately. I always have sent in pics of all the sides of the bag, some of the inside, the creed and dustbag. Last week I submitted 2 bags, and they told me they couldn't make an offer until they got pics of the receipts and cards. With all the buzz lately about them doing so many declines, I'm just going to return the bags to the store where I got them, the next time I drive through Missouri (that store chain doesn't have a location near me, so I figured I'd try to sell them). It's not worth the hassle to go through all the stress just to have them possibly declined and sent back to me.

I don't know about you but I did the same with RM and Chanel...they accepted my RM without needing receipt and card. They havent asked for the Chanel either BUT I did send in an authenticity card...sorry but when you have a 2k bag, its extremely important to keep that card for many reasons.

I sent over 4 items and they accepted 3. One of the items is being sent back to me and another had to be refurbished so I told them to just sent it back. (They deduct from your quote). I'll be getting a check for the two bags in the next few days.

I always keep all tags, cards, receipts, boxes and dustbags, and even the tissue paper and stuffing the bags came with. And then pass all of that on with the bag when it leaves my collection. If you'll reread my posts, that's not my issue AT ALL. :wtf:

I think they reject them right away... I sent in a mint condition LV and within 10 minutes of receiving the bag they rejected it... I am not sure what their standards are, but I feel like they decline just as many as they accept. I think I will stop submitting to them, and just use other means... only because I hate getting my hopes up that they will buy it and then they don't. If they reject because it is an older style, they have pictures and descriptions and don't even have to offer a quote. Very frustrated with BBOS

I agree w/ you. I sent them stuff and they declined it right away w/ no explanation. I guess they are getting picky and strict on their standards. "I hate getting my hopes up that they will buy it and then they don't..." it is really stressful that they do that. I wonder why can't they decline the item and not give you a quote, so you don't have to send in the item and then they decline it.

maybe they don't have as much funds anymore to buy a lot of bags.

for those of you that had their bags rejected after being sent in, did you take the "cash" option or the "store credit" option? i'm just curious if they'd be more inclined to keep it if they don't have to give you the cash up front.

i have sold LOTS of bags to them but they were all COACH or TREESJE- they gave great buying prices (more than what i paid!) but they give really low offers on Gucci, LV, and RM.... and there process takes a little while...

So far, I've had very positive experiences with BBOS. I've sent them 16 bags, they rejected 6. The first rejection was a bit of a sting, but I understand that those bags just aren't their market - they were older classics, not the current favorites. I've sent the bags if 3 shipments, they've received 2, and they are paying me exactly what they stated on their estimate. And I requested a check not credit on all of them.

For comparison, I've sold some things to Yoogi's also. I love shopping at Yoogi's! Their prices were consistently lower that BBOS, but they wanted those older classics. Thanks Yoogi's!!

Hope things continue to be this positive!! :D

Maybe they will read our posts and think twice about making offers on older style bags (if that is indeed why they are not accepting them). I find their offers are always about the same as yogi's closet, but I think Yogi's has been doing it longer and know how to authenticate things better without needing proof from a receipt:graucho: I certainly have had my share of success with BBOS,but wish they decline my bags (when they are all authentic and as pictured/described)
