I have never sent a bag in, but I have submitted several bags with lots of pics. All were in excellent condition and two were even NWT. They have rejected every single bag. I just give up.

I sent in a Chanel Bag for professional cleaning as I mentioned before...but there was no scratches, or color marks or anything. Just dirty because it's really white. So not only did they say it'd take until end of August for it to be DONE (OMG) because my mom shorted the handles, she did it on her own by moving the handle down since it's only one handle (the old chanel bags) and it's so easy to move it back. She even wanted to do it before sending it in, but I said let a professional do it anyway. And it takes two months to fix the handle? LOL! Yeah okay..and they wanted to charge 140 dollars for all this so I said no thank you, send my bag back please.

Oh and the purchase price was insanely low...600 dollars for a Chanel bag. And this is a really classic bag that's hard to find. I'm just gonna contact cosignment places, I know I have a way better chance there.

I sold 3 Coach bags to Avelle a few weeks ago and they're up on their site for sale right now. I gotta say, it was a little disappointing to see their mark up over what they gave me for the bags because they're kinda making off like bandits (100%+ markup). But, you know, looking at the big picture, those were bags I hadn't used in a couple years, Avelle saved me from having to deal with the pain of selling them myself, and I used the cash they gave me to buy a really gorgeous new Gucci so I'm happy. The only thing that turned me off a bit was that they did charge me for cleaning on one bag which I figure would just be a cost of doing business for them especially given their obvious margin (plus the bag really wasn't dirty). But, whatevs, like I said... they removed the headache for me and I think it's worth it.

Did you lose any money from the purchased price?

ITA! I sold a variety of bags to them and got good $$ only for the LV. But I really don't have the patience for resales so I was just happy to let them go where they'll be used! :D

I sent pictures of 2 brand new just released bags for a price quote and their cash offer was downright insulting. If they were a buyer making a Best Offer on ebay I'd block them .... lol. They must think we are really desperate, offering only 20% of the retail price! I won't be wasting my time with them anymore, I'll stick to selling on ebay.
