coachgirljami that is SO low! if you dont mind me asking, what other site did you sell your mam to? I really dont want to do the hustle of ebay, but I dont want to sell my handbag in exchange for basically a pack of gum either

Hi - I don't mind you asking at all. I didn't sell to another site, though - my MAM found a home with a very good friend of mine. After I got scammed by a turd on Bonz, the way eBay hates their sellers, and BBoS's issues with authenticating, I will set my bags on fire before trying to sell another one. :(

ann's fabulous finds is a great place to consign RM, though, from what I've heard. Good luck to you! :D

I'm so p-oed...I sent them my Mulberry Emmy and Gryson Sophie. They agreed to purchase them using the pictures I'd sent. They offered me lousy money-so I took the store credit. The day they got the bag they said they were declining to purchase them. When I asked why-they would not answer me. Those bags had been used a total of 4-5 times, I think Avelle is really starting to suck and I'm done sending them my bags. I'd sold about 7 to them-but as soon as I took the higher offer on these 2 bags, they said they were returning the bag. Most of their offers are really lowball int he first place!

Oh yeah and get this, I noticed 2 bags that they were selling, a prada and a Valentino, they were basically selling them for retail and lying about the retail price. I have both of the bags myself so I knew. And when I emailed them, they said that said that the person the purchased them from told them the retail price. Uh, don't u guys do research? Seriously?! So with that knowledge why don't u just tell them that u purchased it 3xs redial. Maybe they'll start coughing up more money that way.

I don't understand why they decline bags and not give a reason.

I submitted pics of my Gucci Pelham classic style with the braided handles and they offered me $695 or $1085 credit...Its an OK offer but how do I know they will honour it? I'll be shipping from Canada so its not a simple process for me...

Also the credit seems very good but then again I see how they markup all their bags. What I use that credit for will be quite marked up as well!

^^ Exactly-they looked at all of my photos and then after I sent them-they declined them. When I called she said they couldn't give me a reason because it might hurt my feelings. I told her that was a joke and to have a supervisor call me. needless to say-I haven't heard back from them. They did receive 5 more bags from me today and are sending back another Linea Pelle bag that was in immaculate condition-and which they'd also seen all of the photos. I really think that they are scamming a lot of people with the prices they give and in turn sell them for. It's ridiculous...I'm done giving them away to a business that obviously doesn't care about the customers that it buys from and makes $$$ off of! :nono:

Thanks for the heads-up, ladies. My problem is I've never sold a bag before. I've never been on ebay. DH set up an account a couple of days ago, but after reading the ebay thread here I'm overwhelmed and scared because of the scams. Don't know where else to go. I have about four Bbags I want to sell. Where else besides ebay do you recommend for Bbags? Your guidance is appreciated.

I guess you try consignment. There's Yoogi's Closet, Luxury Exchange, Ann's Fabulous Finds, etc. Hope that helps.

Dear JNH14,

I am sorry to hear that you were not given a reasonable explanation regarding our decision to decline your handbag submissions. I would be more than happy to look up your information and share any information with you.

You say you asked for a supervisor to call you but never heard anything. Again, my apologies. I was out of the office for a couple of days but have returned all calls and e-mails upon my return yesterday. Since I don't know "who" you are at this point I cannot be sure I didn't get a message to contact you, but of course I'm more than happy to check my records. I take follow-up very seriously and would like to chat with you if you have questions or concerns to discuss.

If you don't feel comfortable posting your personal information here, please feel free to call me directly (866.922.2267 x 1103) or e-mail me ([email protected]). I would love to help you in any way possible!

Thank you,

Erin
