My BF Halzan 31 has been one of my top 2 go-to workhorse bags so far this summer. Love, love, love this leather!

Do you have pics of how it's "aged" so far if you're using it daily? I don't wear my BF B that often as I need to be hands free, but you can definitely tell that it's "aging" with each wear. It's done amazing though and nothing can beat the smell, but it'll never be a leather that looks like the day it was brought home blemish free. When I do have a chance to wear a nicer bag, I always reach for my BF B25.

If you go back to post 1087 you'll see a photo from when the bag was pretty new. You can see some fingernail-type marks that have since blended in and even though the lighting is quite different it has started to get a nice patina.

Just to be clear, I wouldn't say I'm using it daily - I like to give my babies a rest every few days - but it has definitely been out at least as much as my most often-used Clemence and Togo bags and it's holding its finish/structure at least as well.

Also, I meant to post about this at the time but forgot, but I had an incident a few months back while on a weekend junket and something gooey/oily (I think it might have been salad dressing) got on it, which was particularly annoying since I had it sitting on its own chair mostly covered with a napkin. I didn't have anything to try to clean it with in our hotel room so I used a tiny bit of shampoo with water and the stain mostly came out, and by now I can't even tell where it was.

All praise Barenia Faubourg!!!!

That's awesome! I've had my B25 for about 6 months now and it's definitely developing a patina just from sitting out. I also have had sunscreen, oily hands on handle (I'm not a huge fan of twillies), and shopping bags/finger nails rubbing against the leather. All have faded for the most part. It really is such a special leather. I'm considering adding ebene or noir BF- I just love the smell, the weight, and the feel of this leather.

My first BF 24/24 in size 29. I'm obsessed with the smell! So DIVINE! I have birkins and kellys in other leathers (togo, epsom) but never own a BF. I'm so glad to have this beauty in my collection and will definitely collect more bags in BF leather. Also, yesterday, when I tried to smell the bag, my nose, with foundation, sunscreen and skin oil all over, touched the bag. A big dark spot (bigger than a thumb) immediately appearing on the bag made my heart broken. But after 10 mins, the big dark spot disappeared like miracle. Unbelievable! Again, love love love BF SO SO MUCH!

Thank you for letting me share!:nuts:
