Hi PF! I've had my BF B35 for about 3 months now and still being very careful with it :) I'm curious how other's have worn/aged with wear and time? Also, I read one PF's feedback of a white film forming on their BF. I slightly see that after storage as well. Would love some thoughts :)

I noticed the bottom of my bf35 again had a noticeable white film covering the bottom and the sides, it's hard to capture in these pictures but I will try. Once again I used my trusty blow dryer and a very soft microfiber towel,problem solved, but I'm wondering how long is this going to go on with this leather?

Hi Birkinitis. A while especially if you’re not using it much. My Togo’s are even worse. A Paris craftsman told me it takes about 10 years for most leathers to totally dry. My BF doesn’t do it anymore but it’s been well used for 3 years. If I put it away for 6 months, I’d probably have to get the hair dryer. My Togos that do it range in age from around 1-8 years. Brand new ones don’t do it, and very old ones don’t. Clemence does it, Chevre, box, Swift and exotics don’t. That’s been my experience anyway. Oh the bright side, at least you know the leather doesn’t need conditioning.

Thank you for posting this. Mine had this film and I tried the hair dryer, but not the microfiber cloth! I will give it a try!

i'm curious. whats in between the leather? if there's material thats soluable, will it damage the fuser etc in between the leather?

hi Im new to Hermes and got a Barenia Faubourg Picotin yesterday and haven't seen it in real life yet. I've heard this leather is scratch resistant, water resistant but can't stand with oil? Even if you put your nose up against this leather is will leave an oil mark? How about putting up hand lotion and carry the bag? will it leave oil marks too? Please let me know this leather is not that fragile. thanks

I am considering getting this very bag!! Congrats on getting it! What size is this? Was it hard to get? Do you mind sharing the price? Please do share pics when you get it! Sorry for the many questions but I was just hoping someone here had this bag :)
