do you believer this? I called ebay. after a half hour on the phone, the end result is you can't remove your bank account or change to just being a buyer and not a seller. their "solution" is if I'm not actively selling after a year or two, I won't be a seller. so I guess my bank account wouldn't be accessible. so I closed by ebay account and will have to open another one if I want to buy.
what crap. she acted like waiting a year or two was acceptable. uugh
That is terrible!! I can't believe how bad CS is now. I would have closed my ebay account too. I wish there were some other great sites to sell our items. I can't stand ebay. I like selling on PM, but the CS is awful. They never get back to you anyone.

I closed my account. I will lose all my FB but didn't have much and most of my purchases have been from big power sellers who don't worry about that. I got some notice that said they may keep some of my information.....I don't feel like calling them again so I'll just live with it.
Their CS is overseas. I don't care about people speaking with an accent if they can resolve me problem but this one acting like waiting "a year or two" was acceptable pissed me off. I told her I knew it wasn't her fault but I wasn't happy.

I just deleted my credit card from PM. How do I delete my bank account? I will be deleting my account too. I'm not putting up with this crap!!! Not responding my email requests. I heard it's up to PM to let you delete your account too?

I got annoyed recently when I got a notification that ebay was taking a couple of dollars out of my bank account. It was a small amount and had something to do with shipping but I didn't like that they could reach into my account. I called and they said they had previously notified me about it but that notice didn't come in my email. I had always just used PP with ebay as a buyer but now if you want to sell there you have to give them your bank account info. I did two sales there and probably won't do again. I should take my bank account off if I haven't done already.
If you sell something on ebay and when the post office scans it, they decide you didn't pay enough postage, they charge ebay for the difference, which ebay passes along to you. That is probably what the charge is for. I used to have a dedicated bank account for ebay selling. Before ebay started requiring bank account information and everyone was using paypal, paypal would do the same thing - go into your account and grab money if there was a chargeback.

it made me uncomfortable. I only sold two items which I thought would do better on an auction than on Posh. I'm done now.
I had a bunch of DH's vintage Levis. One sold for good money, another for much less. I donated the rest. If I have bags to sell, I'll use Posh.

Now I see why PM CS has gone down hill!!! This is the same issue Tradesy had. They were bought out by a S. Korea company. Saw on Twitter, FB and all social media that CS never responds to anyone!! They need to get their act together and focus on CS!!!! Forget about the stupid Live Sales!!!! Before PM CS would get back to any request the same day or at least 24 hours. I'm reading that some people have not heard back from PM CS even after 7 days. Now their CS is all over seas.

I don't understand since I used a USPS priority flat rate box and paid ebay for the postage....but I wasn't going to go to war over two dollars....it was the grabbing into my bank account that got to me
 
I looked through my PM account. And they did already have my SS#, bank account, mailing address, name. They have had it for over a year now. When I logged in yesterday there was a verification link. This link asked for my cell phone number, home address( I use my PO box for all mail, since I had mail stolen at my home address) Such a pain to have to pay for a PO BOX and it takes me 20 minutes to drive to my PO Box. It's better to have peace of mind that someone won't try to open a credit card again if they steal my mail at my home. I travel for my job so I don't want any mail going to my home when I'm gone. I put in the verifcaiton. My cell, DOB, and the address street for my post office. Why do they need my DOB too? They already have my tax info, bank info, ... Now I have sold more brand new items and I will not ship them, since they never got back to me. It's say's I need to reach out to PM support.
Annoying! Probably it's all because of your PO box. They keep updating something behind the scenes, we don't know what. I wish they sent notifications ahead about updates and not in the middle of the sale which is stressful.

Yes, I think it's because of my PO Box. They do not need my physicial address. They are not my bank, home insurance company! I'm really mad since they are not responding to my messages. When I put in my DOB, Cell phone number I received an email saying it was confirmed. When I put in the street address of my PO Box I receieved and email telling me to contact PM customer support for help, because my verification did not go through. I did exactly what they said and no response. It's been 2 days now! I ask them to please send me a new link so I can update my physical address. No response. I messaged them on Twitter. FP and Insta and no help!!!! I can still get into my account, but I can't ship the two new orders because it says "We are unable to verify your information. Please contact Poshmark Support (Account Tab > Poshmark Support Center > Contact Poshmark Support". I can the shipping labels, but I'm not stupid. If I ship them I will lose my items and $$$. One item is $600 and the other one is $200. I'm wondering if I opened a PM customer support request under the second order if they will help. In the past when I had to get CS involved with an order they would respond that same day. I don't know this buyer. This is the first time she has bought anything from me. I feel like opening a request for PM CS and tell them I cannot ship this item until your CS gets back to me, so I can update my shipping address. Not sure if this would scare this buyer away and she would want to cancel the order.

that's too bad so you will lose your $400 sale...I guess some here use Mercari....I don't know much about it

So far I have only deleted my credit card. That was for purchases only. I will have to delete my account if they never get back to me and update my account. I don't want to delete it yet, because of the two sales and I have so much stuff to sell in my closet.

I have so much more activity on Posh than on Mercari. Their fees are less but you have to calculate shipping for each item, which is a negative for me. They allow bundles but I don't understand how that works with the shipping fees. You can choose to offer free shipping or have the buyer pay for shipping. People make offers just like they do on Posh.

I'm pretty happy with Posh....haven't sold much but have bought several items. I admit I generally make a lower offer. I enjoy negotiating. some sellers do not. so most of the time their items just sit there.
