Does anyone use Poshmark?

Thanks. I couldn't find a way to reach out to Poshmark directly, so I replied in the case thread, which made the buyer carry on even more. The pictures are all there. It wasn't anything that I was using, so whatever happens happens, but what a drag. I've sold plenty on Poshmark (both high end and not) and have tons of "love notes" and 5 star ratings, so I'll consider this a one off and move on, but it really bothered me.
PM email is [email protected]. Make sure to include order # and your closet name.

Hello,

I am in need of desperate help! I recently purchased a BV Intrecciato bag on Poshmark. This bag was almost $2,000 and I feel very taken advantage of. The description was listed as "black" when it is not.

Upon receiving my package, I see that it is gray (it is very evident in person) and not black. When I requested the seller for a return/refund, she accused me of having buyer's remorse and argued that the bag is black.

The problem is that I initially opened a case, and wanted to see if I can reach a conclusion with her first as she had been very nice throughout the process and did not want to do it before trying. To do this, I dropped the case, which automatically made me "accept" the order. I let her know that the bag was incorrectly listed as black, when it is a gray (Ardoise to be specific).

She argued with me that I saw all the photos and that's my fault. She wasn't open to anything. However, it's common knowledge that photos are not always accurately represented as the true color as it depends on many varying factors - camera angle, lighting, camera lens, quality, list goes on.

This is where things get weird. When I went back to our message thread to screenshot to send as proof to Poshmark support, the message thread was gone. I'm not sure if sellers are able to "delete" message threads but I found this action to be highly suspicious as it was done right after I told her I will escalate our conversation to Poshmark.

I let the seller know that I received authentication response of her product being gray, and not black. Now she is not responding to me.

I already contacted customer support with great detail along with proof of the picture I took in person once receiving the bag today. I also posted a picture proof of a true "black" BV bag along with the posher's original posting.

This entire situation leaves a terrible taste in my mouth as after being confronted that it is gray in person and not black, she changed in attitude. I believe this is pretty easy to prove - the color is either gray (Ardoise) or black. I don't know why she would be inflexible if I am offering to give proof.

I would appreciate any feedback/response. I am willing to go to great lengths to pay for as many authenticators, contact my credit card for transaction dispute, etc. I am willing to accept if this bag is proven to black, she is not open to anything. I see that she now blocked me, which prevents me from reaching out about this issue..

She has a lot of followers & positive reviews. This is my first negative experience on Poshmark.

thank you so much in advance, I appreciate all of your time and feedback!

Poshmark support may take a day or two to get back to you. That is typical. Contacting them through customer support is the correct thing to do (or you can contact them through the item in your purchase history, there is a drop down menu for problems with the order). Add your order number to the conversation (or send a new message with the order number) to expedite things. If not, they will just respond to your message asking for the order number, so you can reply with it then if that is easier. Be prepared for them to decline your request, even though you are in the right, they are often very strict about the 3 day limit to file a return request. If so, your only option is to file a claim with your payment method (PayPal, credit card). Good luck!

Since the pictures of the actual bag are posted and it appears to be black/very dark grey, the chances that Poshmark will side with you are low. If there were a significant difference in color (light gray) or stock pictures only and the actual bag was different, you had the case. Yet, calling the bag "black" was incorrect on the seller's side. But many sellers don't know designer colors of the items, they are not obliged to. They just describe as they see it, as close as they can. Really dark gray is black enough for her. Sorry for your experience.

I'm concerned and worried about USPS not tracking!! I went to my post office this morning to drop off two packages. One is for $400 and the other is just $280. I always scan my packages and get a receipt. Today the USPS self portal said it could not print out a receipt, but you could still scan your packages. I scanned them but it's still saying that just a shipping label was created. I searched to see if anyone else was having issues with USPS tracking and found this link: https://downdetector.com/status/usps/map/. It shows there are issues in Los Angeles, CA and other states. What happens if this never updates and the tracking never shows up. I cannot lose my $$$ and the two items.

There maybe nothing you can do now just wait for few days it usually would scan when get to the destination.

Thank you! I sure hope they scan. I always make sure to scan any items that I sell. The next time the USPS self portal can't print a receipt I will take a picture with my phone.
USPS tracking has been down on and off for last 24 hrs. Poshmark can't catch tracking updates either because of service interruptions. Mine all went into the system eventually and I got emails "thank you for shipping".

I sold something on Postmark many moons ago. I did not like it, people offer insanely low offers. I also got a bad rating per the review I did not package it nicely and I did not include a thank you note.
that's funny....I know some sellers include thank you notes but while it's nice, I care much more about the condition of the item and that it's shipped timely

Thank you for letting me know that this has been happening to other people too. I'm so happy I just woke up and saw both items are tracking! I also see I finally received the emails from PM thanking me for shipping the items.
