I did try on a 30 cm Birkin (chocolate) when I was in the H shop the last time and they brought a 35 cm Garden Party (they didn't have any 35 cm Birkin) for my to try as well so that I could compare the sizes and I realized that I could choose either size. I ended up placing an order for a 30 cm (black togo with palladium HW, black lining) Birkin.
Do You Prefer Size 30 or 35 Birkin?

I'm 5'1" and all of my bags, except for 2, are 35s. If you wear heels and have to dress for work (as I do), I actually think a 35 looks more natural. Plus if you have something extra to carry (a foldable umbrella, a notebook, or gloves in the winter), a 35 doesn't feel "stuffed."
I only have that orange 30(Clemence, will bring back to Asia for my mom soon) but I had used my cousin's 35(Clemence as well) for a few days when she visited me from Asia( pay her rent in these days?
) I am 5'7, and I like big bag very much, so I will definitely acquire a 35 in the future.
However, IT IS HEAVY THOUGH. Actually I have to admit that I am not used to either grocery shop with it, travel with it or work with it. Will it be a bag just showing off a casual chic? Still Confused... The 30 is much better that I know I will carry it when I go shopping,dining, and dating.
But, still my goal is to have my 35... Am I nut or what? Maybe it is too night.

35 is the ideal size for me! I am a big bag girl. I have ordered a 30 as well. It comes in Soleil and because of the bright color I thought 30 would be the right size (if I have to I do not need to carry much stuff around

all my bags are in 30 (even though im 5'7 in heels ) i dont know why im just drawn to that size and i like the choice of carrying it at night too..

i don't have a birkin, but even at 5'6" i'd definitely prefer the 30 over the 35, mostly because of the weight. i can't stand heavy bags, esp if u can't put them over your shoulder. plus, i like the look of 30 more...it seems more "purse-like" to me...
