i never dress up on purpose...but ever since i was little going into the big city for shopping was a big deal. my mom always said we had to look nice. it's kind of ingrained in me that portland = nicer clothes. hehe. i don't wear dresses anymore, but i do put on a cute top, straighten my hair and wear extra makeup. :)

Depends on my mood, sometimes I go in right after work and I am dressed up, sometimes I go on my "off" day. Wearing sweat pants and a nice tshirt, but my sa knows me now so no matter what I wear she treats me nice. Especailly after one night I went in there in sweats and dropped $1500. The other people in the store were shocked. HEHEHE I loved it!

i think its fun to dress up! no matter where you go, even to the post office =D or maybe i just have too much clothes and just need to wear them!

No, and the people in the Brisbane LV are always really nice to me. But I do usually have an LV bag with me since I like to take one when I am having a break away from home.( I am not lucky enough to live in the city.)

i pretty much wear what i want ... but like other I carry the right bag ... and the right credit care ... amazing what that will do for you !!!

i dress up, i have never worn the same thing to lv twice and have made a not of it, i usually dress casual but i wear designer stuff to shop in i.e. raph lauren polos and calvin jeans, im never frowned upon (or i downt notice it) from what im wearing, but i know how to work a sa ive been to so many designer shops for my age i know exactly how i answer thier questions and sound imensly rich and walk out of the store without buying anything!

lol. i think people in high end stores really judge their customers based on looks. i remember while i was in singapore with my dad and my dad was just wearing this really floppy jeans, t shirt and sandals. while my dad was asking them to show him the shirts at ermenegildo zegna, they pratically ignored him! imagined the horror on their face when my dad ended up buying like 3 shirts and a pair of jeans. it is sad when people get treated differently based on how they are dressed!

i've read all the comments on this thread and this just relates to me the most!!! :D i dont purposely dress up just cos im going to LV or any high end boutiques, i dress up anyway :shame: but having said that even if im having a lousy day and have bummy clothes and happen to have to go to LV if im in the area, i wont hesitate to go in. although i dont really notice any difference as im from a small city and the SAs know me by name.

In Germany, I dress up a little bit when I go to the LV boutique, makeup, nice hair, nice shoes and a nice designer purse!Otherwise the peoples in the shop will give me a BAD LOOK !
In LV Malaysia or Singapore(my Hometown), I can wear whatever I want, because they serve everyone equally, with lots of smiles, even just for window shopping.

I would wear my matching sweatsuits or some jeans, no makeup, hair in a simple up-do and carry a nice purse. Most of the SAs are pretty nice in most of the stores I walk into. Recently I walked in an LV store, looking all tore back and carrying a big Versace shopping bag, and
boy-- here comes an LV SA trying to sell me swimsuits. Don't judge a book by its cover, right?
