I dress up because higher end stores can over look you if you're too causal, but I've noticed when shoping in all types of stores usually the people dressed to the nines don't buy anything...

I Go Into The High End Stores ~ The Way I Am Comfortable.

You Have To Do The Same...Casual Or Dressy....Inbetween.....Be Comfortable & Yourself!

oh my gosh...i dress like a total bum compared to you ladies who say they go in jeans! lol...i go in flip flops/running shoes, yoga pants and a t-shirt most of the time! but its ok b/c i only deal with one sa per boutique and when i go in i go in to buy.

Someone did tell me that I have to wear nice pant and leather shoes going into LV. Than I realize, that's so uncomfortable when when you plan to have a whole day shopping experience.

This may sound weird, but if I can help it, I deliberately dress down. If a SA is super nice to me, they get ALL my business in the future. That is how I feel about Amanda at LV in Seattle. I could come in there with an extra hand growing out of my forehead and she'd be just as nice and accomodating. If I am treated rudely, I make a smart @ss remark and walk off. Then the next time I am in the same store and find a nice SA, I make sure to point out that they are getting my business because (insert name) was rude. I have found since I turned 40 I just have no tolerance for snobbery! :p

I wear dress casual: premium jeans, heels, and a nice purse. I find that they do treat me differently if I dress down but I normally dress dressy casual anyways.

SA is LV were snobby until I met a SA that was super nice, now I always go to her and would I wait for her if she is unavailable. She always writes me thank you letters in LV stationary =)

Diff LVs I go to seem to give a diff level of svc, some are nice regardless what you wear. If they are not-so-nice, I'd rather take my $$ to another branch! can't stand snooty svc!
