I've never made a conscious effort to dress up either - well, unless I was shopping in Tokyo, but that was more of a daily thing there anyway (people wouldn't wear jeans to the supermarket.. good thing I didn't discover Juicy until I moved back!). Although, uniformly, the SAs in Tokyo were super-nice.. I've never had an issue either way.

I wear jeans or 150.00 sweats. I don't care. Sometimes I have my hair in a ponytail and no make-up on. If you have on the PERFECT sunglasses and lipstick and are carrying the PERFECT bag and of course a GREAT diamond watch you can get away wearing anything.(If you look hot in the outfit lol)kwim

I love shopping with my mom!!![/quote]

hehe- I'm glad someone does! I love my mom, but even if we just go into Kenneth Cole I'll get scolded with "You already have something like that" or "That's ridiculous! I would never spent that on a coat!" (Coats are my other obsession) When I go into nicer stores, I always dress casual-jeans and a polo or button down- and in the winter a gorgeous coat of course! My next conquest is the Dior Homme fur from the Fall collection. Maybe that'll get me some respect in LV! haha

I don't really pay attention to what I'm wearing... most of the time I go into LV to look (and maybe buy) while on my lunch hour, so I'm dressed business casual. But I've also been in there in jeans and a tank top, and each time I'm treated nicely by the SAs :D

I'm a student and I always dress very casually. I went to the LV store in San Francisco today and everyone was nice to me and my friends. My clothes weren't extremely bad. I was wearing black ballet flats, nice jeans, and a fitter green blazer with my Stam bag. However, I also have a lot of piercings and purple hair. It didn't matter. The sales associate showed me the bags I wanted. I've never been snubbed at the LV store.

The only store where I've had a bad experience has been Marc Jacobs. They're nice to me when I come in by myself. However, when I went in with my friends, the sales associates didn't even approach us. I think it's because one of the guys in the group was wearing a backpack and my two girlfriends don't look like people who like Marc Jacobs.

nope i dont dress up at to go into the LV store... i'm always really causal - skate shoes, hoodies etc.... nothing too flash and they always treat me really well - even when i'm just having a look and asking about stuff :-)

Oh! I love coats, too! I buy them constantly! One of the reasons I love living where we have all four seasons is that I need a coat or jacket for each one of them! LOL! I just bought a "washable suede" chocolate brown jacket that is gorgeous -- it was $400 and 75% off so I got it for $100! (Don't think I'll try and wash it though...)

I'm going to a meeting in 1/2 hour and can't wait to wear my new jacket -- and nobody in this meeting has seen my new LV yet! :smile1:

Oh and my mom is the opposite -- she loves to buy and is always encouraging me to. haha! Her favorite words are "if you love it then buy it." It's become my motto. :D
