Do Chanel shoes run true to size?

To be on the safe side, go up.

My feet are very narrow so my size 9 is a 39 fit in Chanel. However, I can get wear a 39.5, if need be. (I'd walk right out of a 40.)

Not sure about US size, but I wear 7 1/2 Aus size, and 37 1/2 in Chanel.

i would go up half a size just to be safe so the corners of the shoes dont rub off.

i agree, you need to go up half size, I'm a size 6, so thats 36. bought my flats at size 36.5 and its just right

you need to go a half size up.
sorry to ask this but are christian louboutins the equivalent of chanel sizing?

i wear 36 or 36.5 in chanel shoes but for the ballerinas i wear 36 (US equiv 6) though they do not feel snug, but i think it's b/c i have relatively narrow feet. i tried on size 35.5 and they fit better width-wise but are too short. so i think you do need to get at least actual size or go up half a size if you have wide feet. though i have also noticed that not all ballerinas fit the same way for chanel. my patent ones feel more wide than the regular leather ones.

I have just bought the chanel ballet pumps in beige/black and had to go up a half size- hope this helps!

Every Chanel shoe or boot I have ever tried on runs short by at least 1/2 size. I tried the ballet shoe from spring on and needed a full size larger than my regular size because it ran so short. My foot is average width.

I just bought these and they were so short I had to go up 2 full sizes!

Hi Chanel Lovers!
I am interested in buying a pair of Chanel shoes, but have never done so before (I know, the horror!). That being the case I know nothing about their shoes. What better place to come than the Chanel Subforum for advice!!! Any input on how they run?

Personally, I've found them to run fairly true to size, except for the boots. I take a US 8 and wear a 38 in Chanel. My Chanel boots are a 39 though.

I have a very narrow (AAAA) foot and go down a size for boots. With socks and an insert, the boots fit well. Although I just got these a couple of weeks ago and they fit great! I think it's because the throat of the shoe is so low and the toe is very round. The ballet flats fall off my feet and I can't wear them
