I think Chanel runs true to size but their shoes are narrow. I am a 6 and wear 36 in Chanel. I do have narrow feet but my problem is my calves are too big. (my excuse is that I am 5'6" and most size 36 people are tiny 5ft with tiny calves!) So only with knee-high boots, I do go up a full size to 37. So it really depends on your feet and calves.

Mon, unfortunately, I am not one of those blessed with narrow feet.......
ETA: I'm thinking they might be a half a size too small...I'm not too concerned about the calf being too small as the boots are mid height but since the consensus is that Chanels run small and narrow (and my feet are not ) I'm having doubts.
But they are round toe so that might make a difference ...

Uh-oh - fake boots or no receipt? Sorry about that. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise - the boots may not have fit!
I've decided that I now want these shoes....a full 2 years after they came out and of course they aren't being made anymore.
I see some on ebay but I need sizing rec's. I'm usually a 6.5 in all shoes including high end and occasionally I'm a 7.

I own these in every color--pink, ecru, brown, black!!! They are so comfy and cute. I am a 7.5 to 8 and I wear the size 38 in these. I would suggest the size 37 for you.
