Do Chanel shoes run true to size?

like i said earlier, when i got mine, my size was sold out, so i went up a size, hence the inserts! these are my beige and black ones...

I decided I want a pair of ones just like these (the tan ones in the pic above), except black...so I went to NM and the guy said they were from last summer and I wouldnt be able to find them anywhere. Is this true? I dont want to buy from ebay and get scammed...unless Mon has some for sale that is.

Bergdorf had the black/black cambon's a month or so back. They were supposed to get other colors as well, but I am not 100% sure they came in. I ordered a pair and had to go up a whole size, but I ended up returning them. They just didn't look right on me :(

I have the flats with the elasticized back (I don't know the names of these...if anyone does, please LMK) and I went up 1/2 size. I am a 7.5 and bought size 38. They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. OMG, I just went to look at them and the soles are so cute. They have a quilted rubber piece under the ball of the foot (on the outside sole) and the little heel has a big cc entwined on the very bottom. I guess once that wears away, the shoemaker could certainly not replace it with identical material, but maybe Chanel could???? :confused1:

I usually wear size 36.5 in Fendi and Versace. (boots with zipper on the side) Do you think if I order size 36.5 for chanel boots (pull on style) they would be too big? just right? or maybe too small? never tried on chanel boots or shoes before. thanks

I would ask for the calf measurement. Some of the softer leathers may have a bit of a stretch to them. I tried on the thigh high pull on boots which were unstructured (baggy) and they went on fine but made my legs look like undercooked sausages. However, I have HUGE calves and rather muscular, er big, legs.

As far as sizing, I have found Chanel shoes to be a wee bit on the narrow side. The only exception in my expereince to date being the Cambon flats.

Hope this helps!

Could anyone help me? For those members that own a pair of ballet flats. Could you tell me are they true to size? I'm a size US8...does that mean i will fit into a size 38. I have broad feet(well they aren't narrow).:confused1:thanks.

I usually go up a full size. I just bought a pair that needed a size and a half bigger.

My feet aren't narrow either... and the width is usually good. I find the length to be short, which is why I go up a size. I must own at least a dozen classic and ballet flats.
