I'm in the process of trying to sell my last Coach bag. It's too small for my lifestyle and was something I only wore on a handful of occasions. I'm still going to keep my 2 larger Coach bags and my Kate Spade bag. They're useful and I like to keep those as backup if I don't want to take out my LV in certain situations.

Yes I only but high end now. I started with coach in 2002 and was loyal to them for over 10 years. Bought my first LV in 2007, second bag in 2009 and went full addict in 2012/2013. I still have my first Coach bag for sentimental reasons. I have a couple MK, RM bags that I like the styles. But LV is my love. The other high end designers I like and have a few of those.

My first "designer" item was Rebecca Minkoff purchased in 2011, and I still have the bag. I haven't used it in years, and I've tried to sell it but I'm kind of secretly glad I haven't had any buyers. I've sold off the majority of my contemporary bags, but I still have a few around for situations where I prefer to be discreet and don't want to use my LVs, or higher end bags. I am still buying contemporary bags if they catch my eye, but I'd rather use my funds towards LV.

I've kept most of my old Coach bags from the Legacy and Madison lines. I love all the different colors I have and sometimes just feel like carrying those. I don't buy Coach anymore but did recently buy a Kate Spade Maise bag for when I want something more low-key.

So far I have kept all my non-LV handbags. I am still new to LV and only have 3 bags and although I love them they can´t be used for every occasion.

I have a few MK bags which I still love. They are all excellent quality leather bags. So no need to think less of them. Also where I work even MK bags are considered a bit snobby. One of my colleagues asked me 2 weeks ago if my MK bag was real

Anyway, I love handbags and keep the ones that suit my needs, no matter if it´s LV or any other brand.

I gave my Gérard darel 24hr bag to my MIL to say thank you for the nice things she passes down to me (chanel shoes, Holland and Holland coats!). She gets more wear out of it than I will now. I have a couple of nice cross body bags I use, one MK in white for summer and a Kate spade in black. I also keep my cheap and chips, covered in rock band badges bag for gigs as I don't like my nice bags to get beer (or worse) on them!

I have kept my coach bags only because I don't know how and where to sell them (any tips?). I use my coach tote for work because I don't want to risk dirtying my nice designer purses (work in hospital). I use Marc Jacobs and Kate spade and long champ bags because I like the look and function of them and more carefree. I'm embarrassed to use my designer purses in front of certain family members so I try to use my Kate spade or Marc Jacobs if I know I'm seeing them :)

I still own and buy contemporary brands, Coach specifically, and lately Massaccesi. If I like it, I buy it. I don't own MK other than a pair of loafers and a cosmetic pouch but both items are good quality and don't regret owning them. I recently got my first longchamp and a Cuyana tote and love them, too. I have one Rebecca Minkoff mini mac and I love it but not too happy with the leather in the piping. Shows wear quick... I have a Kate Spade white hobo and an all-leather black Juicy Couture bag that I never use and should donate or something.

I began purchasing luxury handbags and SLGs a couple of years ago but I have continued wearing and purchasing Dooney & Bourke. The luxury brands have actually made me appreciate my Dooneys even more because I can see how high the quality is for a fraction of the price. I try not to purchase the luxury handbags unless I'm completely in love, but I can say the same for my Dooneys. Once a handbag is in my collection it gets treated like every other handbag and is put into the rotation. I try to change my handbag every day or two.

I have only one "less designer" handbag which I absolutely love, a TB Britten Hobo in black. I am a nurse and carrying a premier designer bag to work just doesnt feel right so I carry my TB Hobo. I love and enjoy using it just as much as my LVs, Chanel, Goyard or Gucci. I wish it came in a variety of colors, I would get another!

It's funny that there is a thread in the Chanel subforum about selling all your LVs in order to fund Chanel . . .

When I first got into LV, that's all I wanted. I sold off the contemporary designers and did not even look at other luxury brands.

Then I got into Chanel and that was what I wanted. The price increases are tough to swallow especially when my jumbo cost $1000 less than my m/l.

Now I just buy what I like - LV, Chanel, Hermes, Michael Kors collection, Fendi, Goyard . . . I hate that I missed out on the Celine Edge. And there a few Gucci bags that are stunning.
