Diamond stud wearers - do you take them out at night?

I never sleep in jewelry except for a small diamond cartilage earring. It annoys me, since I sleep on my side, to sleep in earrings so I've been taking them out every night for at least the past 3-4 years when I sleep. I used to be able to sleep with earrings in, but I can't anymore. Never had a problem with sleeping with them in though.

I take off my earrings before I go to bed. The posts are long, so they sometimes poke me in the neck when I'm laying on my side in bed if I leave my earrings on. (I take off all of my jewelry as soon as I get home - earrings, rings, necklaces, watch, and bracelet.)

I sleep in mine because I just got my ears pierced a couple of months ago (at the ripe old age of 35 ) so I need to keep something in at night for the time being. I am totally not a sleep-in-my-jewelry type, though - all I can usually stand to keep on is my wedding ring - so if it weren't for that I would probably take them out when I take off my other jewelry.

I sleep in them usually. Sometimes they will poke me and I remove them in my sleep, but that's rare.
Pearls studs are a whole different thing, pearls are sensitive so I make sure to remove them a soon as I'm home.

I leave mine in 24/7, but that's because my ears are doubled pierced and they're in the higher of the two piercings. I only take them out to clean them.

same here!!
I've got 2 piercings and i keep the diamond studs in all the time.
But if i wear something else with it in the lower piercing then I take that out at night :)

I have had a couple of studs fall out during sleep, and it does hurt if I turn my head in certain positions even if it stays on, so I always take everything off.
In fact I take off everything as soon as I get home. I like to start over every morning with a blank slate.

Actually I don't, mostly because I forget .. and then when they poke me, or when I feel that they're significant enough to cause me to go mad from the poking, I take them out. Otherwise if I sleep on my back I don't feel them .. and leave them in.

I wear them all the time - except when I think there's a chance I could lose them (swimming etc) or when I need to clean them.

I have a double piercing too - but at present I'm wearing 2 pairs of studs, and haven't changed them for weeks.

I used to never be able to sleep in them - too painful - but now I fall asleep in my 1ct studs all the time. It means you have to clean them more often, but I clean mine nearly every day anyway as I work in a jewellery shop. :)
