I have a bag from 2000 and the creed says 2K for the year. I don't know if they did this on all of their 2000 bags or just some. I bought it from the full price store.

I think it means it was made in April

A means January I believe.

The first letter is the month: A=January, B=February, etc.

The next two numbers (sometimes it's only one) are the year. 09=2009.

The last two numbers are the factory.

My Tribeca says M if the letters state the month then it would only go to L as L would be the 12th month. So I think it is the letter for the Month it was made in. M= May or March?

The description when I seached it was Coach Tonal Patchwork Gallery Tote 12902 (Black)

Does that mean that it was made in July 2008 and the Factory Code is 93?

Might I ask what the numbers after the dash represent?

What does the number mean that was part of the description that came up after my search?

the numbers after the dash is the style number.

It stands for January 2009. Coach does do the letters to represent each month starting with A and ending with M. They do not use I for some reason. I have no clue why they do it. So
A= January
B=February
C=March
D=April
E= May
F=June
G=July
H=August
J=September
K=October
L=November
M=December.

Then of course the number stands for the year. So 01=2001 and so on.

^^ Maybe they skip I because it could be confused with the number 1. Just my guess.
