Does anyone know if there were Plombs from 07 made from Agneau, rather than Chevre? The production tag is missing, so there's no way to know, but I'm wondering if someone hear would know - with some certainty - whether all Plombs were made from Chevre. Thanks!

Thanks, Aki! But I know of one person on tPF who has an 07 Plomb Step made of Agneau. And there are F/W07 bags that are made of Agneau... So, I believe that there are 07 Agneau bags out there... but I don't really know exactly which ones, unless it says so on the tag. Just trying to figure out if there's a way to find out (if one doesn't have the tag) if the bag is Chevre or Agneau...

I just believe it because violet, sienna, VF, jaune etc are all from chevre..

I think the handles on the f/w 2007 bags got longer on the works (right?) so if that's an issue you might want to think about it. 2005 is usually a good year though.
In addition to the handles being longer, some of the 07 bags have very thick leather. I've had two and both were much thicker than my 05s. All of my 05s were softer however.
Be aware too, that every bag within each season can be different from the next. I think it is a matter or preference, but if you are buying "touch," unfelt, it is also somewhat a matter of luck!
Hi Aki & Michk, I do believe that some of the F/W 07 are made of Agneu. I once own a 07 Violet city and it is stated on the paper tag that it is made of Agneu. I thought may be GH Bbags of F/W 07 are made of Chevre ??
^ There was a mix of agneau and chevre in 07, or at least on the paper tags. Then again, there's talk about how it was agneau all along. To be honest, I don't care which leather a bag has -- as long as the leather's thick and chewy I'll go for it! 
Oh, Jira, how I wish that were true for me! Maybe it's because I haven't had the good fortune of getting a really out-of-this-world agneau bag, but I just find that my agneaus don't age as well as my chevres... :s
Leslie, the handles of the Works were lengthened from 07 - but only slightly! They're not significantly longer. I find that a brand-new 08/09 Work still feels way too snug under my arm, compared to my broken-in 05 Work! (And I think the 05s break in way faster and better than the later bags, so an 05 Work still fits better under the arm...)

Hmmmmm, I just heard from someone that said they thought the 07 handles were two inches longer!
