I placed a 04 Black First on hold at AFF's and I want to know your thoughts on the 04 leather since I have never had one. I have had an 05 before though. Any HELP with be greatly appericated!!! Thanks

WARNING, WARNING ... you are going to get hooked by the '04 leather! Personally, I prefer the older bags because the leather was just so soft and just gets better with age. Unlike the current bags (which seem to have a gloss when you first purchase them - which wears away with time), the old bags had buttery-soft, distressed leather (hence the real reason why so many people starting loving the B-Bags). My '04 Black Weekender is still going strong; the leather is substantial (someone described it as "chewy" - which I kind of like), but it feels like a Baby's bottom! What could be better?!?

The leather is incredible! I love my 04 leathers - there is not one bad thing I can say about them. Smooshy heaven.
