I rehabbed a faded and stained gramercy. I didn't dunk. I don't usually on structured bags. I pulled out the suede lining and washed it, using acetone on ink and Lincoln EZ cleaner, also lightly sanding. For the exterior I filled deep scratches with leather cement. I mixed Lexol conditioner with a tiny amount of Wood n Stuff Leather Refinisher (you only need a sample size bottle) and applied that all over the bag. For the final step I used Blackrocks Leather n Rich. Great job on rehabbing the Gramercy, it looks gorgeous! I worked on one a few years ago and I resisted dunking it for a long time - but it was so dirty I finally gave it a bath and it held up very well, see link below. Just to let you know that they can survive the rough treatment, when that is the only option. Nice work!
