Congrats! Both bags are gorgeous. Can you share the info about the first bag? Style #? TIA.
I don't think I would. Nubuck is basically suede. You would need a suede dye or you could try RIT fabric dye, which works better for me than suede dye.Does anyone know if you can use Leather Refinisher on Nubuck?
Thanks to all the great and detailed advice on this forum, I was able to successfully remove shoe polish from this bag and now it just glows after the rehab!View attachment 3600151 View attachment 3600152
It looks like it is either 9165 Legacy Drawstring or 9166 Legacy Large Drawstring.View attachment 3600827 View attachment 3600828

I had one from 2001 made in the US. It had the most fantastic soft leather. Thanks for the information. I really like this bag and would like to find one to rehab.
Thanks to all the helpful posts here (and I've been poring over this forum!) I've had some successful rehabs! I'm so happy with how this bag turned out! View attachment 3600149 View attachment 3600150
If it contains silicone, why is that a problem?I still don't understand WHY?? anyone uses CPR except for the fact that it is inexpensive. There is NO WAY that CPR gunk is silicone FREE....If it feels like silicone & acts like silicone...
It looks like style #9314 to me. (I zoomed it, downloaded it and zoomed it again using Picasa Photo Viewer.)View attachment 3601164
Can someone help me out please? I'm trying to find out the style number of the bleeker tote at the bottom left in this picture-the mustard colored tote. I found this catalog page on etsy but I can't read the info about it. I have the smaller tote style 9303 and would love the bigger size. Thanks!
Looks great! I looked up saphir and they have a ton of colors. Have you tried any others besides black on this bag? Have you mixed? I would like to try something like this on some light colored bags.Style 9058. I've been using Saphir products for my rehabs along with Black Rocks. For this rehab, after dunking, I mixed a couple of drops of Saphir recolorant in with the Saphir conditioner to cover up the scratches and scrape marks. Then finished with Black Rocks and buffing.
