I think 1/2 inch is pretty skinny for this bag. This is the width of a station bag strap. The Willis came with a slightly wider strap. But some buyers might be happy with it since it matches. You could always give the buyer a choice, like others have suggested.
I decided to keep the right strap with the right bag. And I'm selling the Willis without a strap. I'll point out that the hardware exists to add their own strap as desired. :) I bought the bag as part of a "lot" on shopgooodwill, and I didn't realize that there was no strap. oh, well. Que sera sera!

Hi Coach experts, I've got a hardware problem here and a bag I don't recognize.
This bag has a magnet closure and an exposed screw - has anyone seen this before?
It isn't a spring lock, because a spring lock doesn't have a magnet. I'd like to repair this bag if I could figure out what it is.

That's a Fulton, style #9898. It's part of the Coach Carriage Classics Collection. Beautiful bag! It will rehab nicely. That exposed screw is a problem though. It's supposed to look the same as the strap attachments on the side of the bag. You could replace it with a regular small magnetic snap. I've had to do that before.

Ladies, is there a name this Coach bag section on the purse forum? I’ve bought this bag recently and nobody knows the name of it.

You've got an incredible vintage find there - I've never seen one like this, but what really stands out to me is the bone color looks pristine and close to accurate.
I have a few bone NYC bags and one looks almost ... green, light with green undertones. Another one (a swinger- not NYC but 80s), has scratches that show through the bone color, but no scratches on the leather itself, weird. Bone is hard... and this bag looks like it lived its life protected in a closet!

THANK YOU! I don't think I've ever seen one of these, or even heard of this bag!
Until I saw this stock photo, I didn't notice the knob adjuster on the strap, because mine was extended to the furthest hole and the strap sleeve covers it a little.

OK well, the good news is, at least the exposed screw was not a letter "C" or some unique embellishment. I doubt anybody has replacement parts for this particular bag. Maybe just a brass button of some sort like you suggested.

Hi Michelle, so interesting you say that. I bought a few bags from a Coach pop up shop. Inside the Pony bag were tags which read archived item so I believe you’re right and the bag was preserved. I also found a Bonnie Cashin bag with the tags intact. I’ll attach photos. But they’re so special, I’m not quite sure what to do with them. But not knowing the name

of this bag is like thinking of a song and not knowing the lyrics lol for me :)

I’m definitely addicted to thrifting and rehabbing coach bags now… I used to wonder how people accumulated a backlog of rehabs but then today I just picked up 3 to add to my list…

I did leave this one behind because it was in real rough shape. Small hole in the piping, couple of paint spots or streaks. Now I’m kind of regretting it… 0388C65F-6982-4668-B426-2A009525BE9C.jpeg
