Yes I have, extensively with leather cpr. the color on the front is dull compared to the inside and has lost its “luster” so to speak.

Then you may want to try dye, but you’ll probably have to do the whole bag, matching the front to the back would be hard.

That’s true. I might give the paint idea a try then.

A quick question--I did a little work on a Legacy West Classic Shopper I thrifted last week. I tried the puff paint mixed with Leather CPR to touch up the wear on the edge coating on the straps, and I think it looks good. Is there any type of sealant I should put over the paint, or will it stay on pretty well as is? This is my first time to try it. Thanks!

A little advice please from the veterans. Not a coach bag but a bag with a small piece of the piping and wire inside broken and sticking out. Do you cut that bit of wire and then cover the hole up or do you try to glue it inside.

Wasn't me. I just listed mine for sale. I find the shoulder strap too short for me.

Does anyone have any recommendations for navy dye? I got this purse for cheap a couple of months ago and the front is really worn compared to the inside (which is why I got it, so I wouldn’t worry about messing it up). The white of the suede is showing on one side and I just want that colored.

Do I understand you want to just touch up one side? That could be tricky. But I see the dilemma. I have a dark blue Bleeker tote with some scratching and fading. I am going to use a Saphir leather recolorant product on it. Some day!
