The weird thing is that it was pouring rain all day yesterday. I'm definitely not complaining though lol!
As I’m thinking about it, Stewie’s aren’t really that pocketed. There’s a lot of open, exposed space even though it’s a lot of leather. Maybe that had something to do with it. My Patricia took something in the range of 4 days to dry. That bag is just pocket on pocket on one more pocket. Lol Still, BONUS! No mold up in here!!

Beautiful! Wow the orange is Glow y and Gorgeous. Another color I need to be on the look out for!.
Is the Renapur similar in consistency to Blackrocks and apply the same way? I haven't seen that product before..... your results are stunning!
It's a little like a stiff vaseline. I like renapur better because it doesn't make the leather sticky like blackrocks. I apply it with my hands, rub it in and buff it off with a microfiber cloth, kinda like BlackRock but again it's not sticky on the leather and you can play with it a little. Its expensive and I get it on Amazon. It also smells amazing.

I LOVE THE PATTI! I can always get one more thing in it going out the door in the morning . True story , I went to a baby shower. One of the little games they had us do was give us a list of items , with points associated with them. If we had that item in our purse/handbag we got the points. Well, I had my Patti and you guessed it, I won. And women were impressed with how much stuff I had in it. Well, maybe amazed.

Edgekote, there are other brands. They also make a little well and wheel thing for application. They’re inexpensive and might be worth a shot for a more consistent look along the strap.
Thank you! I will look into this.

I just noticed that Busykitty and Catbird were the 'cats' who had such great suggestions, I'm seeing a feline trend here :)

To those of you that have mentioned using Lexol - do you use the cleaner, or the conditioner? I have been using Leather CPR but I'm wondering if the Lexol conditioner might work better?
I have the conditioner, but I don't like it very well for rehabbing. It is very thin, and I don't think it works very well for heavier-duty conditioning. I think CPR is a better choice for rehabs. I only use Lexol if I'm mixing something like dye with conditioner for touch-ups.

I finished the rehab on my British Tan Broadway Satchel. You can still see the spots on the one side but overall I am pleased. She drank the leather CPR! Bonus is she no longer smells musty!View attachment 4526576 View attachment 4526577 View attachment 4526578 View attachment 4526579 View attachment 4526580 View attachment 4526581
Gorgeous!

I hate it when they squish a purse in an envelope. I know they are trying to save money but it's so disrespectful to the purse! LOL!
Depending on the bag, I have learned to ask before the auction ends if they will send it in a box. On the other hand, my latest project, the BT Plaza was already flattened. So an envelope didn’t make a difference.

As mentioned before, Lexol conditioner is a light conditioner. If you use it on wet , damp leather it will leave noticeable white streaks on dark leather. I use Cadillac Supreme as my go to light conditioner more, and save Lexol for my beater bags and shoes. If you want to experiment with another heavier conditioner, try Leather Therapy Restorer and Conditioner. It is a liquid consistency. I went through a a 32 oz bottle of that and then got CPR.
I use Lexol Cleaner in the water for dunking or mix a solution for wiping down down bags or shoes.
